Very Clean and Awesome Location

My family and I had such a wonderful time staying at your house. It's the perfect location to anywhere you want to go.... beach, shops, restaurants, etc. It's very cute, clean and was the perfect size for the 4 of us. We spent a ton of time on the expansive covered patio. I highly recommend this house!

Inside impressive compared to outside!

The inside of this rental is very well done! Comfortable beds, plenty of linens and towels and everything works!!! Quiet and close to everything.

Great Getaway During Alberto

We had the opportunity to stay in Port A during a tropical storm, the huge covered patio made life easier for mom and dad, because the kids had an outdoor area to escape to! The location to Port A pizza was key, since it was the only place open. I highly recommend this property for anyone with kids!

Cozy Cottage

Very comfortable and well appointed. There are some repairs that need to be made (pocket doors not working appropriately and sink drainage issues). But overall the place is charming and very pleasant. Loved the outdoor patio!

Quaint cottage

Don't judge a book by its cover! This cottage had plenty of room for two couples! We enjoyed our stay and would gladly return again! Beds were comfy and during the heat and humidity it was a nice and cool retreat after fun days at the beach and fishing!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was nice and is in a great location convenient to everything. You can even walk to the beach if you choose. It had all the basics including lots of cookware. Areas for improvement were: lack of kitchen ventilation so everytime we cooked the smoke detectors went off and it became veer smoky in room. Ceiling fans in bedrooms would be a great addition as the rooms get very warm and the fridge did not cook much. Other than that the place was nice.

Great Location

Great location right off Ave. G. Minutes from beach and restaurants/shopping. The unit itself could use some TLC. One of the main walls next to the front door had terrible active water damage and the drywall was caving in on its self. We are used to a couple cockroachs here and there due to the beach location- usually they are dead or dying due to active pest control. This unit didnt appear to have active pest control- we had numerous incidents with cockroaches crawling out of plumbimg and scurrying around the living room. Couch smelled of someones yeasty dog, we expect a little bit from a pet friendly rental but this could use a good steam clean. Interior doors had problems with locking mechanisms. AC and fridge worked great. Overall great location but unit needs some love.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good = split bedrooms each with their own private bath. Cottage has a very nice covered porch which was great to get fresh air but stay out of the sun. Porch includes a grill! Extremely close to beach, restaurants, grocery store, drugstore, etc. Management responded quickly to my ? about the coffee maker before our trip (drip, standard filters). Lots of nice dishes & excellent cutting knives. Well stocked kitchen with appliances. Grateful for washer & dryer in the cottage with washer pods! Nice sample sets of bath toiletries, kitchen soap, kitchen sponge, dishwasher soap, paper towels, plenty of toilet paper for 3 days. Rental price was decent. Management company extremely accommodating when we had to reschedule our vacation due to my mother's emergency hip replacement surgery.Bad or so/so = multiple roaches in kitchen and bathroom. Baseboards and doorways are scuffed & need repainting, furniture layout isn't great, living room sofas are incredibly uncomfortable. Left pocket bathroom door very hard to close. Right pocket bedroom door will not close or latch, slides right back open. Water pressure in right bathroom is weak. Blinds in right bedroom are broken at the bottom. I knew from the pictures the pavement jutted up to the coytage but I had no idea it was going to be a cottage park with lots of other cottages & vehicles in the same area. Blessing was it seemed to be well insullated/sound proofed; we could not hear anyone else inside our cottage at any time. We couldn't get the dishwasher to turn on. Nowhere to hang hand towels or face cloths in either restroom. Shower rod pulled down & hit me in the head as I was trying to hang up my bath towel 😒. Not enough facecloths or hand towels.If it wasn't for the roaches, nothing else was a real deal breaker for us and we would have probably stayed there again on our annual beach trip.

The rooms being on each side of the house was perfect, we took my elderly mother and allowed us to be up later and not disturb her. Mattress and pillows were good. Would definitely stay there again. We loved the outside space it provided. We did not bbq but grill was there.
