Comfy getaway

The rental was amazing for the price we paid, the location was quiet, peaceful, and a short drive from the beach and local shops. Although the inside is small it was very comfortable and homey, not once did we feel cramped with a family of 10. The outside was very beautiful and convenient with a shower head to wash off the sand, the pool is small but perfect for cooling off. Overall this rental had everything we were looking for, we will definitely come back to this rental again for another vacation.

Family vacation

The property was nice, we enjoyed the pool. The location was close to town. The only problem we had was not enough washcloths. There were more than enough towels for everyone but only 2 washcloths. Everything else was good.

Close to the beach

Very clean, well maintained and close to the beach as well as golf cart rental places. There’s also a gas station right down the road & a beach store. Only thing was the two king rooms were a little warmer than the rest of the house.

We enjoyed everything it was great the property was amazing except for a few details from cleaning,the microwave was dirty and the bathtub in the hallway bathroom but other than that it was amazing and we really enjoyed are stay there.

Lights on stairs did not work, back doors did not unlock, fan in bedroom only went on low speed (made for a warm room even with extra fans), cooking pans rusty Pool was great, location great, beds comfy, overall fun house.

Thanksgiving Family Getaway

We really liked the property and the convenient location. The beds were comfortable and TV’s in every room were great for the kids. The large dining table was perfect for our group. I would recommend that you put a better can opener in there and a few more baking pans. We left a larger bottle of dish washing liquid and some extra garbage sacks. We loved the fire pit and the corn hole game. And the kids loved the hammock swings. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Recent stay in Port A

Not an ideal location with young kids. House is right on the corner of eleventh street. The noise is extremely loud all night with the golf carts and traffic. House is very outdated. They had one functional pan for cooking and the fridge leaked the entire time we were there any time we would get water. Pool area is very small, but great for the kids. Nice outdoor picnic table with hammocks. House had covered parking and convenient location to the beach. Overall stay was ok, but we wouldn’t stay here again.

Not happy

Bedrooms were super hot. The living, dining room and kitchen were cold. Vent is directly over the bunk beds in one bedroom. Ceiling fan in one bedroom goes one speed, low. The pool was a selling point for me. Unfortunately, mid stay, the pool company "had" to treat the pool, without notification (I knew this because they left the empty gallon of shock treatment in our trashbag and the pool was cloudy). Needless to say, my family wasn't able to enjoy the pool that day. All management had to say is they apologize. No pets allowed, but patio furniture looked to have random dog hair.

Excellent property and location

This property is very easy to find and located to allow for easy access to Pt Aransas and across to Aransas Pass and Rockport. It was very clean, bright and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
