"The large bed and pillows were very comfortable and the shower was powerful and warm. The room was cleaned frequently. The breakfast was fine but all hot food got lukewarm warm quickly. The pool was nice but not enough beds. Usual towel wars in the morning.
This is a spa hotel but you only get one hour between 4-5pm for free use of the steam room. Outwith that it’s €50 per hour!!
The rooms have zero soundproofing and you can hear all traffic and people moving around, and snoring, above, below and to the side.
There were road works going on directly outside the hotel hindering access but more importantly waking us up before 0800 each day (except Sunday). The hotel was asked about it but their response was to contact the government. It was as if the workers just turned up and they weren’t notified! They wanted nothing to do with it and certainly didn’t put anything out on their website as this would obviously cause a dip in bookings.
Would I stay again? No!"
