"Hotel is practical for business travellers - no significant sights so if you are a tourist you will find more charming places in the hills near Piacenza. I was to late in arrival to try their evening restaurant. It looks more like a breakfast restaurant ie not particularly “cosy” My room was well clean-keep in mind hotels cleanliness is generally very good in Italy. If not, they loose clients and ultimately close. "

Only issue proved to be the rather prominent pipe noises that resonated periodically through the night. Not sure how they can mitigate the issue, but ear plugs were a necessity for my wife.
