The Lake View House was such an incredible place to stay at. The house was very clean, the pots and pans provided for cooking were exceptional. The owner gave great communication and easy check-in and out. Would definitely recommend this place. The house has a breathtaking view in which we always woke up early to view the sunrise with some coffee.

Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to Cottage Grove and Eugene for anything you need. Very private. We enjoyed the daily visits of wild turkeys, deer and ptarmigan. The house was very clean, and attractive, if a bit lacking in things that might make it a bit more homey, like pictures. But that's a small thing overall when you can sit on the deck and see beautiful scenery.

Beautiful Getaway

My family and I were in town from Southern California for a race at the fairgrounds. Jack was accomodating for our three big trailers and the house was remarkable. The view was spectacular. We enjoyed our stay in this amazing home.

This is a fantastic property with a great host! Plenty of room, kitchen has all tools you need, deck is huge. The views are just incredible and words do not do it justice. Everything was just as the listing states but even better. Would definitely stay again when in the area. If you want a great place for a family get together, this is for you.

Perfect house for an intimate event

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is amazing and having grown up in Cottage Grove, I had never enjoyed the view of Cottage Grove Lake from above. The house is super nice, well equipped. We were visited by turkeys and deer and enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The house is a very enjoyable 8 miles from town. We had dinner at Jack Sprats and it was excellent. Very enjoyable visit, thank you to the owners for sharing your home.

Great stay in Cottage Grove

Stayed at this property for our duck’s graduation from the University of Oregon. We had a total of five adults and it fit the bill perfectly. While it’s a bit of a drive to Eugene, everyone really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the environment. The house was very spacious and super clean. It also has everything needed to prepare meals (though we mostly ate dinners out in Eugene). The view of the lake is spectacular and we spent quite a bit of time on the spacious deck. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. Also, the owners are very responsive to any inquiries. Anyone looking for a stay in the area can’t go wrong with this property

Bridal Shower and Family Place

We all absolutely loved this space we rented when we all traveled to Cottage Grove for a family wedding. I rented it to serve as both the bridal shower location and in general as a place for various family members to stay. We had 22 guests at the bridal shower and all fit comfortably. The host graciously loaned us a few more items we needed such as folding tables and an extra hot water kettle. There was plenty of parking for our 22 guests (some carpooled, but there were still a lot of vehicles that fit in the driveway) and the setting (with that gorgeous lake in the background) was appreciated by everyone. For those of us staying the whole week at the house, we loved getting up in the morning to sit on the porch swing with coffee and watch deer and turkey in the yard while the fog burned off the lake in the background. So serene. The beds were comfortable (with plenty of extra blankets in the closet for those who needed it) and the kitchen had nearly everything we needed to cook meals for ourselves. We would definitely rent this space again!

Wonderful site for a family gathering! Large space with plenty of seating both indoors and out. Huge, well-appointed kitchen, and the Traeger was a real bonus. And the view! Especially enjoyed the visits by deer and turkeys. Highly recommend.
