Why Cottanello?

Cottanello is a village with 20 inhabitants and is out of time ... perched on a mountain from which to enjoy wonderful views and crisp and clean air.

It is located on the Cammino di San Francesco halfway between Rieti and Terni and 50 minutes from the center of Rome.

There is ample parking space.

From a bedroom it is possible to admire the uncontaminated nature and the pastures that circulate freely from May until November, before the winter period and the cave, illuminated even at night, in which San Francesco spoke with the wolves.

From the other bedroom it is possible to access a small terrace from which you can admire green mountains and pastures and a small pond.

The house is divided into two floors
Upstairs we have two bedrooms with a corridor and wardrobe and a bathroom with the possibility of using the Turkish bath.
on the lower floor there is a kitchen and a dining room.
It is also possible to use the fireplace.
If you decide to come, you should know that Cottanello is a place out of time immersed in the mountains where you can detox your mind and body while walking in the woods or along paths that are part of the path of San Francesco ... In summer the house is cool and in winter it is heated. The telephone and internet lines are good in the square and near the windows if at home ...
