Old style mountain resort has been nicely modernized, complete with outlets for charging on bedside table lamps. Everything refurbished, with new bathroom fixtures and kitchenettes. Great on-site restaurant.

We stayed here the night before hiking Mount St.Helens and it was perfect. The restaurant was great with friendly staff and the cabin was awesome. Beds were comfortable. My kids loved the bunk beds. They even had keurig pods for all of us. Wonderful stay!!

I'll admit I didn't have high expectations for a small place in a little town (Cougar) - I just needed a place to sleep before summiting Mt St. Helens. I was pleasantly surprised how great this place is. The lady who checked me in (might be the owner) was very friendly and super-helpful. The room had all the modern amenities (Apple TV, chargers on the night stands, AC) and was clean and comfortable. I didn't have a chance to try the restaurant but I've heard it's good. Highly recommend

Nice, helpful staff. Been there twice. First room was definitely better. Second had heat/cooling set-up that was hard to manage (and if I’m really quibbling, there were no paper towels, no plates and just one tiny waste basket). Gotta say though, the shower was excellent and the bed very comfortable.

Stayed one night in order to do some hiking nearby. Cabin was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Loved the whole vibe of the place. The only inconvenience was the restaurant is not open for breakfast. They did prepare some egg sandwiches for us the night before and we heated them in the microwave. Pro tip- the gas station/coffee shop across the street serves freshly prepared grab-and-go breakfast burritos and good coffee. They open at 7 am.

quiet , clean comfy - restaurant next door. The electric car charger was not working properly but these things are common, and not sure it is the properties responsibility- but would have been great if it worked

For one night, it was fine. We could not turn on the heat though even though it was May 29. The breakfast was perfect, some small items and some big. It was quiet and the room was very clean.
