“Excellent breakfast. This property walks the talk re:ecology. We did not have our room serviced (fresh towels) during our short stay. (our choice) Many properties say they are "green" but their housekeeping staff will change towels daily. We also appreciated the strip at the bottom of the doors to block hallway light. Ingenious! We were able to access our room a bit early and the front desk staff coordinated 3 separate reservations that allowed us to stay in one room instead of moving. This was……

“This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve experienced. Upon arrival, mattresses lined the hallways, and the common areas were in poor condition, cobwebs, dirty windows, and damaged carpets. Our room had a strong odor, and the carpet was ripped and bunched up, exposing sharp tracks and nails. The bathroom was also in bad shape, with a corroding toilet. At the front desk, we were told these issues were known and related to ongoing repairs after housing refugees, along with recent water problems.……

“Convenient locating for taking public transport to the airport and Dublin. Unfortunately there is a music venue right next door which plays loud music until 2.30am on weekends which did disturb our sleep massively.”

“The location was great, but the place looked run down and our room was not clean - soap scum in the tub, stains in the sink, cobwebs all around the room, no glasses for a drink of water and no 'Do not disturb' sign for the door. Maybe they weren't ready for us, or they gave us a crap room for booking through Expedia? Whatever the reason, I don't recommend it.”

“The bathroom was almost impossible to bath in, and was dirty. The bedroom sheets smelled as if the Saint Patrick's Battalion had also there, also the pillows. There were no hangers in closet, with the owners things there that have us almost no space to hang a few things for us to hang. The zone where the property is, was very nice, shops close by were friendly and the pub was great! We can say that the only good thing was the coffee selection, and the location of the property.”
