“Dinner was excellent and I found the gym to be superior to most hotels where I've stayed as it had a complete range of dumbbell weights, not just small ones, in addition to some machines, pullup bar, and barbell bench press, There were, of course, treadmills and another room with stationary bikes. The room was not large, but modern.”

“A stay at Lough Bawn house is always good for the soul. It’s a beautifully tranquil place to visit and to relax. Beautiful period house with matching decor and ambiance. Warm and comfortable to stay and read a book while looking out over the lake. Highly recommended. ”

“Cute cottage near town. Very warm and had all the things requiered for a pleasant stay. As there were 5 of us the single bathroom did require some organizing of who had it and when otherwise fine. A suggestion would be to have the clothes dryer in the kitchen next to the washing machine for convenience, and perhaps a second oven tray that fits into the rackng. We stayed 3 weeks and it was very pleasant. ”

“I wanted ground floor unit due to 2 people having mobility issues. sent property a request for this with no reply. arrived to be told on 2nd level with stairs as the only access. asked if we could change to ground level & told no sorry. This made our stay difficult for the ones navigating the stairs with their mobility issues ”

“We had a wonderful stay. James, the property owner was very kind and helpful. It is a lovely area. We stayed and took day trips to Dublin and the Cliffs of Moher. If you are visiting the area, I’d definitely recommend it. ”
