「First time staying there and everything was fantastic! While it is an older property, the staff does all they can to make you feel welcome and are very helpful with request. The breakfast was always wonderful. They offer supper as well and there is an onsite bar. We used it as our base for a nine-day trip to Ireland. There is a bus stop nearby that can get you to the train station and you can go to Dublin or just explore the coast cities. While I did not get names of staff, we never had one of...

「Nice property and facilities Additional Breakfast cost of £23 is very overpriced. They don’t open the coffee bar or snack bar until 10am which sort of forces you to have breakfast as the nearest cafe is some distance. Other than that, a good location and friendly staff.」

The room was nice enough (though the carpet was basically soaked through from check-in to check-out, likely from a recent carpet cleaning). The real issue was the ridiculous noise from a DJ set going on at the hotel from ~2pm until midnight, hosted by the hotel without any mention on their website or booking sites. This was EXTREMELY loud on the deck...

「The most impressed I've been with a hotel in years. Breakfast was unique .....a cold plate in the room, fresh yoghurt and granola, higher end Nespresso machine, milk, tea etc on hand. At 7 in the morning, they hang a bag of fresh croissants and pan au chocolate on the door......so you can eat breakfast when you want. Very nice. Staff were great and the hotel is in like new condition with top end fittings and bedding. Lovely」
