"We celebrated my parents 70th anniversary at Rita's. We had the entire place. This is a very large property and it was perfect for our event. Very clean and well equipped. Mike the maintenance man stopped by to ensure all was good and said to call at any time if we needed anything. The pool was amazing and was loved by all from my 8 month old great grandson to my 89 year old mom. The young adults loved all the room for lawn games and the fire pit at night. "Everything was excellent we had fun and enjoyed the pool. Our section was very spacious and enough room for the 4 of us. Very nice location and close drive into Sydney. Only feedback I have is there was not enough pots & pans to cook properly and adding more cooking utensils."

"It was a simple but adequate and clean little cabin. Even to shared facilities were clean and not at all unpleasant until the shared composting toilet started to emit a very unpleasant smell. That is why I am leaving a one star overall rating. If its too unpleasant to sit outside, it doesnt work. "

"This was a fantastic stay! The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, which made it perfect for relaxing. Host was responsive and supportive throughout our stay. Overall, a very satisfying experience. Highly recommend!"

"This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. The bed was great and having a coffee on the front deck was a great way to start the day. Thank you to the hosts! Cheers @EddieMac75 "

"I was skeptical of this property after seeing the main photo on my email confirmation as it looked quite dilapidated. I wanted to assure other families that this place was indeed safe and clean. You can see there has been some significant improvements around the property and maybe not typical of a big chain hotel but nonetheless it was clean, comfortable and safe and had everything we needed. Bonus', the washer was free and the beds were super comfy!"

" Beds were comfy and the owner and her daughter were absolutely lovely. The rooms were very clean and property was well maintained. When the fires caused the trails to be closed in the national park, the owner had a list of things posted on the fridge that guests could do as alternate options to hiking. She gave many great recommendations and suggestions for activities in the area as well. Very helpful. My only recommendation would be to add a few more channels or a streaming service for guests as the tv options were extremely limited which didn’t help us in the evening after we got back from dinner and we were trying to keep the kids busy. Also, an ice machine would be great so guests can get ice during the time when the office is closed like at night. One nice feature though, was the availability of a few breakfast items for purchase in the office. So other than the tv and ice machine, which are small details, it was a lovely stay and a nice property. "
