"Dave was a great host. He was there when we checked in, so it made the check-in process easy. This was one stop of a multiple-leg camping trip, so it was a nice stop to have showers and do laundry and reset. It's very convenient to Voyageurs NP. Be sure to bring everything you need with you, as it's in a pretty remote location, which was perfect for us. There was plenty of space for us to drop the (small pop-up) camper so we could venture out during the day. The property is on a small lake, but close to larger lakes where the kids could swim and kayak. We were also able to bring our doggos with us. We would stay here again without hesitation."

"Great family/kid friendly cabin! Ideal location. Close to Voyaguers beach and restaurant, Handbergs ice cream, and Vermilliin Falls. Fishing was great, especially for the kids who caught so many bass we were throwing them back and keeping the biggest. Host was quick to respond to all our questions. The house has plenty of bedrooms and baths, well stocked kitchen appliances and dishes. Sunsets were amazing."
"We had a wonderful week on Crane Lake and always love staying at this cabin. It is close to everything we need and want, yet far enough away to enjoy our privacy and feel immersed in our amazing surroundings."
"If you want peace and quiet, THIS IS IT!!Enjoyed being able to dock our boat just a short walk away. Nice amenities, everything we needed for our week long stay."
"This is a wonderful property in a beautiful setting, hosted by truly thoughtful people. The house is bright, open, and airy, with lovely views that make it just as enjoyable to relax inside as it is to explore outdoors. Our stay was too short to enjoy everything, but we especially loved the sauna, the refreshing freshwater shower, and the classic Finnish experience of jumping straight into the lake. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, and even pantry staples for guests to use, which is an especially thoughtful touch in such a remote location (there is a gas station/market nearby but we never went).Kim and Jay provide a detailed but easy-to-follow guide to the home, amenities, and local attractions. Everything was simple to use, including the sauna, washer and dryer, grill, and Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay, and the house was stocked with plenty of towels. Communication before, during, and after our stay was excellent, and check-in and check-out were seamless. As lovely as the home is, we spent most of our time outside exploring Voyageurs. If you do not bring a boat, we highly recommend renting one or taking a guided tour, since many of the park’s best experiences are on the water. Our favorite hike, Blind Ash Bay Trail, was just minutes from the home. This is an outstanding place to stay for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Voyageurs National Park. We would happily stay here again."

"Beautiful property in a great location. We rented a boat from Nelson’s and all was easy and exactly what we needed to fish the week away. House is well appointed and quiet. Would highly recommend and will rebook on our next trip."
"Great place. Very clean. Host was awesome. Always got back to us quickly when we had questions. We spent the week fishing all the lakes in the area. So the location was perfect for us."
