Family Retreat

Beautiful spacious cabin retreat. Breath taking scenery with the Rio Grande river, mountains, gorgeous aspens and fir trees. Creede is a lovely, friendly, fun place to visit.

Rio grande river property

Worked out great for 2 friends in the area to fly fish. Clean and comfortable. Great stretch of the Rio grande for fishing though we had a bit too much rain. We would come back just for river access.

Mountain Bliss

We spent 5 days, the cabin was very clean & the host checked on us via text & email to make sure everything was ok. The host was very responsive to our one minor issue.the cabin is beautiful. The views are spectacular! We were there to trail ride but if you are an angler the river is right there. If you plan on cooking, bring everything you need, as there are no basic spice staples etc. Cookware is basic, please don’t let this deter you from staying the place is definitely a five star just come prepared and yes we would book again! V. B. New Mexico

Best View and Most Relaxing Stay in Creede!

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with gorgeous views at a home away from home, this is your place. The property is unique and a wonderful combination of rustic and modern design. It’s perfect for a solo writing retreat, couples getaway, or a family event (lots of places to sleep!). It is comfortable and welcoming. And I still think it’s one of the best views in the area and I’ve seen many. The hot tub is a perfect luxury. You can make dinner in the incredible kitchen, and then enjoy dinner inside, with a view, or outside, with a view! In any case, I can’t say enough about this place. I believe it’s the absolute best way to experience the San Juan mountains of southwest Colorado.

We stayed here for multiple days and found that it is indeed amazing! Good access to the river and a very short drive to beautiful Creede. It’s quite and off the beaten path. Host was very responsive to all forms of communication and let us know that there would be an event on one of the nights we stayed. In the end it was not a big deal to us and we did enjoy the live music from the wrap around porch. Would recommend to friends and family alike!

The drive to a Wolf Creek was a little further than we wanted, but the views were worth it. It was close enough to Creede to run into town if we needed anything. Highly recommend!

Great Cabin with Stunning Views

This property was amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. The cabin is surrounded by mountain views and it is very peaceful. The town of Creede was within a few minutes drive and was a really neat mountain town with the nicest people. They had a small grocery store and several restaurants to choose from. Lake City is about a one hour drive and has a few more options. If you are looking for great mountain top views, you can go into Creede and drive the Bachelor Loop or go to Lake City and drive the Alpine Loop, but you might want to consider renting an OHV as some of the mountain roads can be a little sketchy without the right vehicle. We were very pleased with the cabin and location. The cabin was far away enough from the other cabins in the area and is surrounded by trees, so it feels very private. There is a barn on the property that has been converted into an event center and the owners still use it whenever they like. We were not aware at the time of booking that the barn could be used for an event during our stay, but it only happened one night out of the 5 nights we were there, so was not too bad. Overall, the cabin and location was great. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here agin.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was overall great. Located on the river 3 or4 miles from downtown Creede. Perfect spot for remote but close enough to groceries in town. It was formally a Horse ranch, sets large piece of property Jason to the river adjacent to the river. Kitchen was not great for pots and pans so keep in mind if you plan on cooking regularly. The biggest odd deal is there is no TV service. They have great internet service and in the description they saw it is a smart tv and you can use your own services. To me that means there is a ability to a Netflix app. Big difference Is there is no subscription provided to any service so no network tv news or entertainment. Tv deal is certainly not a deal breaker but very very odd and the worst part is they do not make that clear in the description. Management was responsive and tried to help but overall don’t plan on tv. Everything else was really good

Great prpoerty

The house and property are amazing. Plenty of room to stay and hang out. We had a couple small problems. The upstairs shower leaked so we had only one shower for 7 people and the dryer didn’t work. The property management response quickly to the problem but couldn’t repair it while we were there. Otherwise everything else was fantastic.
