We drove 7 hours from the Bay Area and found this motel by chance while taking a break along the coast. The location is amazing — right on the beach — and the sunset was absolutely beautiful. We stayed for one night and really enjoyed it. This place feels like a hidden gem that hasn’t been overdeveloped. If the facilities were updated a bit, it would be perfect.

We arrived about four hours later than planned, close to 1 a.m. The front desk called and gave us the smart lock code, so check-in was super smooth. When we woke up the next morning, the ocean view absolutely took our breath away. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a porch out our back slider with chairs to sit and enjoy the views. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and you could walk down to it easily. The room was not as pleasant an experience. Room smelled clean, sheets did not look clean, luckily we had our own. Shower looked clean but would back up by the time you were done washing your hair. Took showers like we were in a camper. All that being said, I would go back again- the location was amazing.

The location is unbeatable. I opened the door in the morning and the beach was right there, waves rolling in. If you want to stay as close to the ocean as possible, this is the place.

The location was absolutely perfect ,You can walk out and be on the sand in seconds. The only downside is that the place is quite old and could use some updates. It does look like they’re already working on improvements, though.
