Also took two day trips to the Amalfi coast, all the way to Amalfi. There are some great restaurants and delis nearby, it's comforting to have some deli food and fresh veggies and fruit after a long day of sight seeing.”

“B and B “Boutique Epocha” is a lovely and quiet oasis in the sea of madness that is the busy city of Salerno. The host is extremely helpful and the breakfast food is very good including some home-baked items. So lucky to have found such a great place! ”

“The apartment is a short walk from Salerno train station and conveniently situated near multiple shops, restaurants and cafes. The cute balcony offers a nice view of the surrounding neighbourhood and patios below. The bed was very comfortable and room cleaning service was offered daily. There was unfortunately a plumbing issue in the bathroom and apparent mold buildup in the ceiling corner which was visually unattractive and came with a slight odor. Host was aware and had plans to have it……

“The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The host gave us coffee, water, juices, and breakfast items and was very accommodating and communicative. The view from the room was gorgeous. It was hard getting places such as stores and restaurants at after 7pm as the busses only ran until then. Other than that, stunning place and views.”

“Communication with the hosts was poor and not very helpful. They did not answer our questions in a reasonable amount of time, leaving us to have to figure out a lot of things on our own. We never did see or meet a host, even though the booking site mentioned that there would be someone there. The entry system to access the unit was quite confusing. Quiet time was supposed to start at 10 pm. There were guests right outside our door using the kitchen and sitting area until 11:30. No……

“The interior of the building was right out of a 1920's villa. Marble everywhere. Beautiful decor. The staff was exceedingly helpful about the history and sights to see. This was only supposed to be a stopover before we went to the Amalfi Coast. There was so much to see, I should have scheduled a couple more days.”

“A great location, friendly check-in, and nice size for a family of four. The only downsides are hot water for showers is pretty limited so you need to space them out or have short showers, and the ladder to the bunk bed is not fixed onto the bed making it a safety concern, but this could be fixed with a couple screws. ”
