「We spent one night at this hotel and loved it. We arrived early and one of our rooms was already ready, which was very convenient. Simple rooms but with everything. The spa is also great, and the restaurant is excellent. Everything went great and we will definitely stay here again whenever we come to this area. Only thing that could be improved is that the pool temperature was not very warm (definitely not 35 degrees), so it was a bit cold for the cool weather.」

Es gibt vor den Zimmern einen Aufenthaltsraum mit Kühlschrank etc. Die Bushaltestelle (für den Bus nach Ascona) ist ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Daher sind die 7Rooms super gelegen. 」

「Usually at five-star properties, especially in desirable locations, the cost scales up much faster than what you get. The Capra is an exceptional property: wonderful location, facilities, and service at a very fair price. All the staff are friendly and welcoming; the breakfast is a la carte, but substantial and served quickly; and the common spaces are a great place to be stuck indoors when it rains. 「This is an amazing hotel. Great room friendly owners and workers, amazing location. The breakfast is really good. They even accommodate making fresh eggs and a vegetarian omelette. They let us pick nick in the front garden and even gave a free ride to the bus stop. I would go back 100 times.」

This ”little detour” was half an hour on serpentine roads through a mostly uninhabited Italian landscape, and the inhabitated parts looking a little like the rural parts of Alabama. 「Das Zimmer war geräumig, aber extrem kalt. Wie wir am nächsten Tag herausfanden, gab es im ganzen Haus Probleme mit der Heizung. Es ist sehr enttäuschend, dass man nicht proaktiv darüber informiert wurde. Zusatzdecken mussten wir anfragen, wir wurden nicht selbstständig zusätzlich ausgerüstet. Ausserdem war die Fensterschliessung in unserem Zimmer defekt, die Fenster und der Balkonzugang dichteten nicht gut ab, was zusätzlich sehr kalt machte.
