The property is an old pub. The bed was comfy and room size adequate. Bathroom is in need of renovations. Pub quaint, good to chat with friendly locals, had cheap bar snacks for dinner. Breakfast was set in a nice room, fireplace and rose on table. Only a continental but it was lovely. Quiet evening location.

The location of the hotel was ideal. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, but could do with sprucing up and updating. The bed was comfortable, and the shower over the bath was nice and powerful. The staff were friendly. The bar and restaurant were cosy and the breakfast room was light and bright. We had the continental breakfast, which was lovely, with a choice of cereals, fabulous choice of fresh fruit and juices, ham & cheese, Danish pastries, toast, and individual pots of tea & coffee. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone and would stay therr again.
