Idyllic little site for restful breaks

The location is like a little village with 3 streets of beautiful country cottages. Impeccably kept gardens and site with plenty of room to run free. The pool was spotless and perfect for all weather conditions. We were there over Christmas and New Year 2021 and so the site always gave us options on activities. Our cottage was 'Foxglove' and was a one bedroom cottage and it was luxuriously appointed. Each night we prepared food in the open plan kitchen and lit a log fire in the wood burner, set in the feature fireplace. Sensible and proportionate COVID-19 precautions meant we didn't really interact with staff but when we did they were always so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The supplies were generous with limitless logs for the fire. We travelled out most days to the coastline and it took 20-30 minutes to drive there. The winter coastal walks were perfect and there are many close by coastal towns and villages to choose from. A perfect winter break location and we thoroughly recommend the site and the area.
