“We stayed two nights with our three boys. They loved having so many sleeping spots to pick from and we loved that they were downstairs and we were upstairs. The kitchen had everything we could need including good steak knives for when we grilled. It was spacious and comfortable and Tonya was great to chat with.”

“Beautiful location and grounds. We loved hiking the property to see rock walls, caves and waterfalls. We even walked down to the lake one evening. The cabin was very clean and provided every amenity and toiletry that we could possibly need and more. Check in and check out was easy. The host’s communication was prompt. I highly recommend renting this listing!”

“Cozy cabin that we loved staying at!”

“Everything about this place was great. We wish we were able to stay longer to do a little more exploring.”

“We absolutely loved our time at the Gnome Home and highly recommend it! We traveled with 3 adults and 5 children for my son’s birthday trip to Mammoth Caves. The cabin is really cute and cozy, very clean, and very well stocked with everything you could think of. They even have games, books, and a record player, which we enjoyed. The hot tub is wonderful, and it’s a really special location with privacy and scenery at the top of a big hill. Beautiful firepit area with plenty of seating. There……

“Great cabin! Cozy and very clean!Lots of steps inside and out. Parking was a little tricky on steep hill and GPS won't take you all the way to the cabin, but overall it was a great stay!”

“Cabin is as described. Cozy.”

“The house was lovely, very clean and spacious. The updates that were done are very nice. The location was close to recreation, market and not far from Mammoth Caves. I would love to stay again with friends to do some off-roading.”

“Great piece of property. We really enjoyed the pond.”

“Great stay close to Mammoth Cave National Park . We didn’t know about the ferry until the host mentioned it during check in, very convenient if you don’t want to drive all the way around to get to the park . Would definitely recommend !”

“We really love this lake house Such a beautiful nature around and the host is very friendly and easy to connect ”

“Amazing host! They had things we didn’t think we needed which was amazing! Would definitely book again next time we come down”

“so nice and cozy!”

“Nice home. Location is good for the lake . It’s about 45 minutes to mammoth cave or cave city. The Ev charger is a receptacle not an actual charger. That was disappointing as we drove teslas. Hot tub was nice had a little sand in bottom from previous guests. Outdoor areas had cobwebs and dirt my wife washed them off .”

“Wonderful cabin in a peaceful setting. They really thought of all the details in this property. There were games, books, toys, etc. throughout the house and for outside, and the kitchen had everything you could need as far as cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. Slight concern about the pitch of the road over that one hill since it rained while we were there and we don't have a 4WD/AWD vehicle, but we did manage to go over it safely, in case others might wonder. Overall, would definitely book this……

“This place was very nice. It was very modern inside and a quiet country setting outside. We loved having a fire pit and being so close to the park. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Unique blend of modern and vintage was very cool. Kitchen cabinets could be better and the first floor bathroom doorknob needs replaced, but overall a great place, and perfect for our family.”
