Boendet stämde inte med annonsen. Huset var dåligt underhållet. Uteplatsen saknade markis och utemöbler. Dörren till boendet var trasigt och gick inte att låsa vare sig från utsidan eller insidan. Belysning saknades helt i ett av sovrummen och hade endast en taklampa i det andra. Köket var dåligt utrustat, bla saknades glas.

Nice stay

I’ve stayed here in the past, so I knew what to expect for the most part. However, there hasn’t been any upgrades to the house since my last stay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the living area was not working, and my shower had no head, so water just poured from the pipe. Honestly, it was better than having a head with terrible pressure. Other than this, the property and location was perfect for us.

Disapointed

I wish I could give a better review, but unfortunately I can not. The sheets did not smell clean, the sliding door was broken so bugs came into the house, the Landlord said they would send the house keeper the next day, but never did. The location is very secluded so it was hard to get a taxi there without having to pay alot of money. The door to the bathroom was not shutting right and there was a bug light in one of tbe rooms, so all we heard was bugs getting zapped throughout the whole night. The couch had bugs on it and it smelled uncleaned. The 2nd day there there was a group of lansscapers there to mow and edge the lawn at 6am so we were woken up because of that. The stay was very disappointing.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Would never stay again.

There were many issues with this property. We booked last minute the day before our stay and it was literally the only property left on the island. When we arrived, the place was not cleaned. There were spots, dirt and crumbs on the floor. The kitchen counters had ants and ant traps on it. There were ants on the wall in the kitchen and dining area. The cabinets/ drawers were semi-functional. We opened the cabinet to pull out a cup and it had black mold in it. The majority of the pots were unusable as the Teflon had all been scratched off. There was a total of 2 spoons in the drawer for a house that states it accommodates up to 8. We put 4 people in the reservation but there were only 2 beach towels provided. We also had a hidden extra guest fee that was not clearly listed in the description added to the host fees- watch for that if booking… The beach “supplies” looked as though they were picked out of the trash. Only 2 were semi functional. The beach umbrella was busted and appeared to be 20+ years old. The only door to lock was a slider door and it did not properly lock and unable to lock from the inside. The bedroom windows were not able to close fully and the first night we had to get a lizard out of the house off the walls. The grill had garbage placed inside of it when we arrived. The second bedroom came equipped with an electric bug zapper and had about 50 dead bugs on the floor when we arrived. The living room couch was stained and dirty.

Excellent!

The property is beautiful! Not far from the beach, and we had complete peace and privacy. All 5 of our children loved the house which says a lot! It was clean and roomy. We cooked dinner comfortably. We’ll definitely rent this property again!

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful time at Lower Breezes & made it to a beach for every sunrise and sunset while there. The house was a great sanctuary for our explorations of Culebra, especially Zoni beach, but close enough to everything on this small island. Really good water pressure for satisfying hot showers too. On our last day, 3 deer came into the yard...

Peaceful and Beautiful

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Rustic retreat with peace, quiet and great views. Perfect location to stay on the island. Highly recommend Zoni Breezes and Culebra. Tom is a great host. Ask about his vehicles for rent. They are older but much cheaper and perfect for beach hopping over a brand new Jeep.

Summer in January!

I loved this spot- in the "country" enough to be comfortable, feral chickens and horses all over.Private and secluded, NO NOISES from traffic! Our rental vehicle was a bit rough (but I have a farm and am accustomed to "not fancy. " )Everyone we met was helpful, understanding and accepting- it was a pleasure.

Culebra Zona Retreats

Property was great and Tom was a great host. Any issues I communicated and he would respond promptly. This is ideal if you want to be isolated and enjoy nature. The room could’ve been a bit cleaner but overall a great experience . Would recommend to others

It was an overall good experience but I have some suggestions for the owner of the property. -needs a new sunbrella fabric couch, the current one attracts bugs (roaches) and is falling apart. -needs new sturdy kitchen pots and pans. -the sliding door needs to be fixed since we couldn’t lock it from the inside. -the grill needs a little upgrade We enjoyed watching movies and having a/c.

Peace and Quiet

We had a great stay. It was so peaceful and quiet out in the countryside with the Zoni breezes for just the right temperature. The view from the patio was awesome! Tom and Joy were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

Great owner but house was not ready for us

Great owner, very friendly, respond quickly and provide good advice/recommendation. Only issue is that there was no bedsheets and towels for one of the bed, and no toilet paper. Getting this resolved was quite a struggle, involving messaging, whatsapp and email. Eventually the problem was solved by getting these items from another house (it was pouring rain....).
