Most guesthouses in this price range have the obligatory uncomfortable dining chair, but this room had a comfortable armchair which is a godsend for those of us with chronic back pain. "We had a wonderful stay at Black Friars! Our room was very spacious and comfortable and we heard no noise from the pub or street below. It is very conveniently located in downtown Inverness, just a few minutes' walk from the train station, and very close to the river and the shops. The pub below is great and has very nice staff and tasty food. We would absolutely stay again if and when we return to the area!"
