Since my last visit, the resort has made some good improvements. They just was finishing a project to add a beach area. They also made other outdoor improvements that improved the appearance. I still don't understand the fees. Just increase the room rates. They should consider adding a small ferry boat to take people ( especially elderly) around the lake. Its a beautiful lake, but its very difficult for elderly people to utilize the paddle boats.

Rocky Gap delivered per the norm. The staff was warm and welcoming. One of the waitresses in the restaurant surprised me with a little cheesecake in honor of my birthday. My Mother's Day and birthday weekend was awesome, and winning $240 at the casino didn't hurt either. This was my 3rd visit to Rocky Gap and I'll definitely be back again. 5/10-12/2024

We liked the casino and the rooms were ok. We didn't care for the food at the Lakeside Grill. The atmosphere, waitstaff and drinks were good but the food was awful.

The hotel has beautiful grounds and surroundings. There were some Quiky things about the hotel. Like they wouldn't accept a letter for the outgoing mail, and they keep the luggage carts locked up and you can only use them when the valet is on duty. There isn't maid service everyday but the rooms were clean, a good size, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of towels and service items. The breakfasts were really nice, and the bar tender in the sports bar was very competent.

We absolutely loved our experience at Rocky Gap Casino! The bar had the best angus burgers, the casino has winning slots. Above all the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful especially upon checkin with Raven.
