Had the ability to grill our own food and have a fire to sit around and enjoy the beautiful weather we had way into the night. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. Play area for the kids. "RENTER BEWARE! I stayed at this property May of 2024. The Host lists his properties on multiple sites so he will often double book. He double booked and asked to switch me to one of his other properties which I agreed to. Once I arrived it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned since the previous guests. Towels on the floor, dirty linens, food spoiling, trash about. I contacted him and he didn’t respond, I had to spend an entire night of my trip shopping for fresh linens and laundering the towels,...

Roads around the property are farm tracks so a little care needed. We found the road past the care home a better route to and from the property. "We stayed here 5 years ago and returned. I think that says a lot :). The Annex is in a perfect little spot, and has everything we need. Bed is comfy, space is cozy, and feels like home. Besides the conveniences, Leslie is amazing. Great communication, willing to help with whatever you need. And had some items for breakfast there!… which was wonderful after a late night arrival. He is honestly just a wonderful man, and this time was hard to leave! He has become like family. I hope we can return...

"Do not overlook this hidden gem! By chance, my fiancé, and I ended up staying at the Mill House for two nights in early May, and would definitely, without a doubt, go back for another visit! The staff were so very attentive and friendly, and the food and drinks are on par with a fine restaurant! We were actually quite sad to leave and continue on our journey, but we will always have such fond memories to look back on! Hope to see you all again soon! "
