“This is an outstanding property, I'm glad to say it exceeded my expectations. Paquera CR isn't the tourist mecca, IE an all inclusive. If you want to enjoy CR with a local feel and experience this is a place for you. The owners were responsive to questions and w/recommendations sheet to go. “Unknown to us, Punta Leona and Playa Blanca are inaccessible unless you are staying within the private area. The view from the condo was stunning, and it was just as described in the listing. I will note that I would recommend bringing groceries with you, as the road out of the area is about 15 minutes (and who would want to leave once you arrive?). Herve was extremely thorough with directions to the place (it would be hard with the detail) and was very responsive throughout the process. ”

“My group of six friends had a really great time at Villa Makai, Santa Teresa location! Our plan for this vacation was to be active, eat healthy, have a lot of fun and have time for a relaxation as well. Seven nights was not a very long time for everything but still we were very happy and satisfied at the end of our stay. The villa was perfect for us, beautiful, very clean, very well equipped. “It was great waking up to the beautiful ocean view, seeing the amazing sunsets over the ocean, and listening to the waves crashing on the beach at night. The gated property was clean and felt very safe. It was also very private. The pool and patio were also great places to relax and take in the views. The host was very attentive.The driveway is a bit challenging to navigate, but typical for the location. There are also quite a few steps from the parking area to the home, but well worth it……

“I am giving this 5 stars because the hosts were amazing and the view was phenomenal; however there are some things to note. The showers have lukewarm water (although every sink has hot water). This was very disappointing after being out on the beach and hiking all day as all we wanted was a hot shower. The water pressure was not great in the showers. There is also only one TV in the living room and it has a line through it but not that noticeable. We tried to connect to it with our iPad as it’s……
