I was denied check-in along with my son and my nephew. We have traveled all over the world on numerous occasions, and never once had to present documentation that he was my nephew. I had pre-paid for the room and your company knew each guest name and age weeks in advance. You never once sent notification or requirement that a documentation letter would be necessary for check in. I stayed at three other hotels in Peru this week including the Sonquori across the street and none required what you demanded. It took almost an hour for me to finally get court documentation sent over. By now it was 10 o’clock at night and we had been up since 4 AM to visit Machu Picchu. The kids were exhausted, and so was I. We were given a room in the back corner of the hotel with a pullout sofa for the second bed. I paid for three people, and there was only one set of towels in the roof. You never offered anything for our inconvenience, not even a welcome drink. After not having the bath towel, I asked for a complementary breakfast and ask them not to call me back about it tonight, but I would check on the status of that in the morning. The front desk, called a few minutes later, as the boys were trying to get to sleep, which is opposite of what I had specifically requested. I would never stay at this hotel again. The Sonquori across the street was every bit as nice, had a better check-in experience, and was half the price, with breakfast included.
