Perfect
My wife, mother and I stayed Thanksgiving week. We had more family over Thanksgiving Day and it felt like home. Kevin is a super host for sure. Will definitely stay here again.

Best ever
The place was wonderful, clean, and convenient. It was 4 miles from Crazy Horse and less to Custer State Park where we saw bison, antelope, and prairie dogs as well as beautiful scenery. I would stay there anytime. Our trip was to see family of which my uncle (World War II vet) turned 95. We saw cousins we hadn’t seen in 50 years. What a great time!

Great experience

Family Vacation and Visit
What a nice place. You feel right at home right when you walk in. Clean, roomy, relaxing, quiet. Great location. Close to nation monuments and State Parks. Beautiful neighborhood, and great owners, who also were in town and stopped by to say hello and pick something up. Everything you need right there. Comfortable beds and bedding! Sad to leave but hopefully we’ll be back!

Adequate stay but overall disappointing. Details matter!
Great location and easy access to attractions. Really Appreciate the garage opener and park tag. Several areas of suggestion/concern. The air conditioning was not sufficient to cool all of the rooms, only the living room area. This made for hot sleeping at night. The towels had a musty smell and were very well used. Needs upgrading. Only one washcloth was provided causing us to go buy some for use. Description of bedrm size not accurate. One room was very small. None of the recliner features on the loveseat and sofa worked. These things really need to be fixed. Ice maker did not make sufficient ice to keep caught up with use. We were very excited to have friends with us for their first VRBO stay. I’m really sorry we had these issues.

I have trouble with some of these issues as we have never had any like this yet. The Refridgerator is less than 6 months old that we purchased with the best ice maker in it you can buy. The bed rooms are bigger than most bedrooms in any house that people live in. Not sure how the towels got moldy or musty. I am heading up there tomorrow, I will check these conditions out. My wife and I go over and above to make sure this property is nicer, cleaner and furnished with comfortable beds and chairs along with very nice art work etc, than anyone we have ever stayed in away from home. Quiet Location
Everything was seamless with the stay. The host was very communicative before our stay. Home is located in a quiet neighborhood. It worked great for our family's needs with a nice sized living room. If you suffer from indoor allergies this may not be the place for you as there is decor throughout the entire home which collected a lot of dust. Overall a great place to stay being a central location to see things such as Custer State Park, Jewel Cave, Hot Springs, etc..

Not sure about the dust, I always find it is very clean, but maybe there was a little on some of the decorations that was missed. Easy fix. When it comes to comfort and cleanliness I feel we go over and above to make sure these things are never an issue. Thank you for staying with us and remember us next time you travel this way. Exceptional Property
Loved this spacious and comfortable home with everything needed to make breakfast and then head out for the day in any direction. Custer location made it easy to get to Black Hills National Forest, Custer State Park, Wind Cave, Lead and Deadwood, and even further trips to Badlands and Devil's Tower. Close to Main St and many restaurants and shops.Owner was a pleasure to work with.

Fantastic location!
This home is located 5 minutes from Custer State Park and about 2 minutes to downtown Custer. Quiet neighborhood, very well maintained home. Open concept and well furnished. Large bedroom with attached full bathroom. Spare bedroom is a good size as well with the 2nd full bath directly across the hall. You will not be sorry about staying here.

Wonderful trip to the Blackhills
The owners were great to deal with and provided lots of information upfront. The keyless entry worked great and was so convenient. Owners provided garage space and garage door opener. Very considerate of them. House was perfect for 2 adult couples. The house was nicely furnished. Location was convenient to Mount Rushmore and several state and National Parks. Would highly recommend.

Nice location to visit the Black Hills
House is comfortable and felt very relaxed and safe in this neighborhood. The location is great for being able to take all the scenic drives in The Black Hills. Easy access to Windcave, hwy to Spearfish, deadwood area and Devil's Tower. All the Monuments are close by. The host Kevin and Karen are easily accessible and will answer and questions you may have. They also provide extra perks when staying at their place. We had a garage for the car, which is a huge bonus. They also provided us with a State Park pass for our stay. This made getting around all the e scenic drives and lakes so much easier. They will make eating suggestions and advise on history of Custer. They furnished a whole write up on a great walking tour of downtown Custer. You will not be disappointed staying here. The biggest problem we had was finding enough time to do everything. We stayed a week, should have added a couple of days for resting in between sightseeing.

It was the perfect location for our Buffalo Roundup adventure in Custer State Park. Great restaurants and grocery stores were close by. The home was cozy, clean, comfortable, roomy, and well stocked...a great place to come home to after a day of sightseeing and adventures.

Location = Perfect! Enjoyed seeing the horses that roamed the ranch in front of the development. beautiful view. Duplex = Perfect.... We could live here permanently! Things to do = affordable and close to many attractions. Recommend going to Hot Springs to see Mamouth archeology dig and the Mineral pool. Very fun. A must is the Mt Rushmore evening lighting show. ---- as well as Crazy Horse.

Great Location!
This property was perfect for our vacation to Mt. Rushmore. Very convenient to everything (grocery store and town just 3 minutes down the road), spacious and clean. The bed in the master was very comfortable and our twins loved sleeping on the bunk cots in the master closet. Highly recommend this rental.

Black Hills vacation house
This house is in a quiet setting with fun wildlife viewing opportunities morning and evening. The location is close to everything we wanted to do and see on our busy family trip. We found it clean, comfortable, very nicely furnished and cozy warm the day it snowed. The fridge had issues which I reported to the owner. The Custer State Park Pass was a bonus as was one inside parking space. We would definitely return.

Snowed in
Unexpected snow led us to be snowed in for 2 days. House was warm and cozy. We had to put blankets over window for glare on tv since that's all we had to do. Lovely decor throughout home but living room furniture could be updated, not comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. We were not prepared for the snow. We would stay again for sure. Thanks

Great property in great location
Property exactly as advertised and pictured. The place was immaculate and we immediately felt at home. Very comfortable bed and furniture. Located just a mile or so from downtown Custer and a short drive to Custer State Park, which was the focus of our trip. This is in a newer neighborhood filled with nice properties. The owner was quick to respond to inquiries. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends and would be happy to stay here again.

Black Hills Vacation
This house was extremely comfortable and very well equipped. It is located in a great location. Minutes to the great little small town of Custer. Minutes to a grocery store, restaurants and gas. It’s about a half hour to Mt. Rushmore, 10 minutes to the Crazy Horse Memorial and Custer State Park is very close. Communication from the owner was immediate upon booking and very detailed. Getting in touch was very easy but because all was spelled out very clearly not really necessary. A pass into Custer SP was a nice bonus and use of a garage and its opener was helpful. We had a great time exploring the Black Hills, Badlands and Devils Tower and this property added to the experience.

Great location
We stayed a week and loved being there! It was a very comfortable place and was the perfect location for what we wanted to do. We loved the back porch in the afternoons after a long day of sightseeing! We saw deer every day in the back yard. The state park pass was a added benefit. Kevin responded quickly when I had a question. Would definitely stay there again!!

Adorable home in nice quiet neighborhood close to many activities.
Beautiful home in a great location. Adorably decorated with everything you need. Bathrooms and kitchen very clean. The only reason I give it a 4 star is because all the tables and dressers had a layer of dust on them like they haven’t been dusted in awhile. This bothered me. We sat at on back patio for our morning coffee. I as very peaceful. I would consider staying here again but cleaing n Ed’s to improve a little.

Julie, We strive very hard to have a clean and safe environment for our guests to enjoy. This is the first time we have had a dust issue in the home. Our cleaning lady is the best you will find in the area. I know she has been burning the candle on both ends as all her homes she cleans have been as full as possible this year, leaving her little time between guests. I know that is no excuse, but I also know what the shortage of help and the push for traveling has been this year and I would say in her defense, it was overlooked by a person that has done the best job we could ask for when it comes to cleaning and making sure each and every customer has a great experience in our home.

Quiet and Convenient
Great, clean, quiet place to stay for a few days. Easy and convenient access to all area attractions that are within 15-30 minute drive; 2 hours to Devils Tower. Home was nicely decorated; pictures were accurate. We had deer every evening in the back yard. Friendly people in the neighborhood. Owners were very helpful and communication was almost instantly. We appreciated all they did and provided and would definitely recommend staying here! Thanks so much!

We were able to use the garage with zero issues, washer and dryer helped us out because we rode up on the motorcycles and packing space is tight on two wheels. Really, it was a prefect place to stay and if we are in the area again we will stay at this property. Truly appreciated the hospitality.

Perfect!
Very comfortable, well furnished home! Not a detail was missed. Comfortable beds, great showers, complete kitchen, comfortable living room, couches with recliners. Just perfect for a home away from home! We were traveling with two 14 years olds and they even commented how it felt so great to have such a nice home (versus the hotel we stayed in the first night.) Thank you so much for opening this great vacation home to our family!

Cozy!
This was such a great space to come to after a long day exploring! It really felt like a home away from home. The kids loved it as much as we did, and that’s hard to find! We would all definitely like to stay here again, especially in the winter. Thanks again!
