The location was perfect for our adventures. The kids enjoyed the freedom to roam the adjacent forest land, and nighttime campfires were very enjoyable. The cabin was a great base camp and we enjoyed our stay.
Great location just outside Custer. The tiny home had everything we needed. Kids enjoyed having their own private space in the loft. We would gladly stay here again!
It was a great spot. Big enough for a few friends to have a nice get away and far enough in the country to be able to have peace and starry night view.
We had a wonderful time at the Tiny House. The location was great, nice and secluded so you could get away and fully relax. The house was equipped with everything we needed, making the stay very simple and enjoyable! We stayed with our two kids ages 6 & 7 and they loved the loft area and pull out couch for sleeping.
We loved our stay. Tranquil location. We loved watching the wildlife. The host was very attentive and helpful. Beautiful surroundings. Near all the hot spots.
It was just what we needed and better than expected. We have been camping across the country and needed a home base we could relax in and explore from.
It was in the middle of everything we intended to visit. Great locale
This area is beautiful. It's peaceful and quiet being a few miles in on dirt roads, but very close to Custer, Hill City and all the attractions of the Black Hills. The other tiny house on the property is a little close but there was no one in it until our last day. We loved our stay and our kids did also.
Tiny Home was perfect for myself and my two sons. We enjoyed the peaceful evenings, watching deer wander through the fields, and seeing the horses at the camp next door. The cabin had everything we needed. The kids loved the loft area, as well as the wrap around porch and fire pit. Tiny Home was rustic and had all the modern day conveniences anyone could need. The host responded quickly and was super easy going. Thank you!

Rustic charm but not very clean
We loved the peace and quiet and the great outdoors. House should have had a deep cleaning before our stay. Like inside cupboards and drawers and the bathroom floor. Otherwise it was good. Front door should be repaired Anyone could break in. Decor was good and rustic. Need scissors in a drawer. Bedding was ill-fitted for the bed. Outdoors was great.
Overall our stay was enjoyable. The first 2 nights the smoke alarm started chirping. Reached out to the host both times, they replaced the battery the first night, but it must not have been a good battery because it started chirping again the 2nd night. We just removed it and called it good. The second day we had no hot water, host responded and the problem was resolved. Both times the hosts response was very quick! She also left us an apology “compensation” without our asking. Wasn’t necessary but appreciated! Overall the Tiny House is not as small as you’d think. We were pleasantly surprised at how much room we had with 2 large dogs! We were all very comfortable and although we thought the dogs would sleep downstairs, they preferred the loft upstairs where they could watch the horses next door and sleep. The bed linens were clean and the mattress was comfortable. On the downside, and I hate to say this, but the cabin was pretty filthy? There was someone’s long hair still in the shower and sticky soap on the shower walls…shower wasn’t cleaned from last guest. Also we found popcorn on the floor in the bedroom and family room floors. The window tracks were filled with dirt and dead flies….more flies found their way in throughout the weekend from holes in the screens and torn gaskets on the screen door. Overall the Tiny Home needs a good cleaning. On a positive note, it was extremely quiet (we brought our dogs to escape the fireworks on 4th of July) and peaceful!
What a beautiful property! It was perfect for our family of 5. Check in was easy. Wi-Fi and Netflix access made for nice down times between our tourism.
Be close to it all but with a quiet and quaint place to stay just outside of town! This property was perfect for our family of five and our dog. We were able to have space to be outdoors and a comfy tiny home to sleep in at night. We are so glad to have had the chance to stay here!
