The "Sahlenburger Ferienhaus" is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. Forest and heath, beach and the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea can be reached on foot in approx. 15 minutes. Shopping and leisure facilities are not far away.
The cosy, bright **** non-smoking holiday flat 2 offers 56 m² of space for a maximum of 2 people. It consists of a combined living and sleeping area with adjoining heated conservatory, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a small shower room and a terrace including furniture and cushions. A car park is available directly in front of the house. We have a lockable garage for your bicycles including an e-bike charging station. You are also welcome to use our beach chair on the Sahlenburg sandy beach by arrangement (subject to availability from May to the end of September.)
Location description: Cuxhaven is located at the northernmost tip of Lower Saxony and is surrounded by water on two sides. This geographical location makes the town particularly attractive for tourists. Since 1964, Cuxhaven has been a state-approved seaside health resort and the centre of the so-called Cuxland holiday region. In 2009, the Wadden Sea of the North Sea was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With over three million overnight stays a year, Cuxhaven is now the leading health resort in Germany. Thanks to the town's tourism, sports and leisure facilities and cultural commitment, the quality of leisure and living for residents and visitors is relatively high, and the Sahlenburg spa district is a seaside resort for the whole family, with the Sahlenburg beach and outdoor forest pool being very popular. In addition to the opportunity to swim in the sea at high tide in summer, there are also walks to the Duhner Heide and the Wernerwald, where the Finkenmoor nature reserve is located, as well as to the island of Neuwerk. Horse-drawn carriages, the so-called "Wattwagen", travel to Neuwerk every day. There is a wide range of leisure activities, nature is worth experiencing and relaxation is complete!
