"I cannot fault the location at all. The area and the views from this hotel are stunning. My experience for this stay was very bad none the less. Here is a list of the problems I encountered in something like order of how concerning they were. Minor annoyances: -I am 6'2" and ~170lbs. The doors throughout the hotel are too short for me to walk through upright. This wouldn't have been as much of a problem if the door to our suite (102) would have been wide enough to walk through without turning sideways. They were double doors with only one of them having a knob. You can open the second only after you open the first and reach through to unlatch it from the inside. -The hot water lasted less than a minute in the shower. Our stay was during off-peak season so I am unsure if all the suites were even full and we could not get enough hot water to finish a single fast shower. Major Problems: -"

"I was amazed at how beautiful the views from this hotel was. Quaint cute little hotel room. Clean. Staff was sooo nice. They gave me a blanket when they saw me watching the sunset and it was a little cold. Also brought me wine a one fruit free of charge! They were so helpful and kind. Really enjoyed my stay here. Nice area also."

"The view from this property is absolutely breathtaking, with an incredible caldera view that truly stands out and makes the entire stay memorable. The place was clean and everything matched what was described on the property page, which made the stay very reliable and comfortable. Since we did not have a rental car, the property was helpful in arranging taxis for us whenever needed. The property also had two bathrooms, one of which had an open concept design. This was not an issue for us. There are quite a few stairs to climb, but that is expected for the location and part of the overall experience. Overall, it was a beautiful stay. We didn’t get the Expedia perk of 1 beverage per 2 people per stay. "

"Notre chambre était petite avec peu de place pour les bagages. Bon petit déjeuner et personnel courtois. La propreté du SPA laisse à désirer ( voir photo, avec résidu flottant sur l’eau). Bien situé et agence de location de voiture sur place."

"It's supposed to be a boutique hotel for relaxing; the pool water should be warm, but it's unusable. It's certified at less than 5 degrees Celsius. Using it could cause hypothermia."

"We arrived at Grand View after having a bad experience at another place. What a difference we had here. The lady on reception (Sophia I think) was so welcoming and informative. We booked some activities with her. She had info about the island, beaches, places to eat and then got staff to show us to our room and take our luggage. The room was amazing. Spotless and spacious. The views were incredible and the balcony was a perfect finishing touch. We spent 3 nights in the lux suite and 3 nights in the honeymoon suite. Both were amazing so I'd recommend either. The staff were always on hand and couldn't do enough; from front desk, to cleaners, restaurant staff and maintenance. I didn't get the guys name who runs the pool bar and restaurant but he is an asset to the hotel. One of the best experiences of customer care, hospitality and their amazing use of the property they have. If I come back to Santorini, this is where I am staying. Take my advice and book here."

"Room was fine for our purpose. It was windy and raining and a short stay, so didn't get a chance to use pool or hot tub. "
