"Didn’t know there were 30 steps from ground to 2nd floor. In heavy rain water drips into living room from deck. Window treatments in lr and bedroom hard to maneuver.No napkins, small sharp knives, colander and not enough hangars (bought them)No manuals or explanations on how to use appliances. No info on where there are extra linens and towels,Expected more given the price."

"We recently stayed at this property with a group of 12, and it was a great fit for our trip. The location was excellent and made it easy for us to explore the surrounding area and enjoy everything nearby.The house itself was spacious and worked really well for a larger group. There was plenty of room for all of us to gather together and hang out, but also enough separate spaces to spread out and have some privacy when we needed it. That balance made a big difference for our stay.The outdoor seating areas were very nice, although we only used them briefly during our stay. When we first arrived, the house was a bit warm, but the wall-mounted AC units cooled everything down fairly quickly and kept us comfortable for the rest of our stay.Overall, we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this property to others, especially for larger groups, and if we return to the area, we would happily stay here again."

"The hosts were very nice and responsive. The unit itself was very unique and cute. I will say that I can’t imagine more than one person being comfortable here- it is a tiny home, after all!The biggest issue with the property is its proximity to the 5. The 5 is a major interstate and the tiny home backs right up to it (literally). You can hear the traffic noise inside the unit and it disrupted my sleep. You can hear it very clearly outside of the unit, rendering the adorable outdoor space pretty much useless. It is also within hearing distance of the train, which is another source of noise.I may have been more forgiving of this if I had any inclination how close this was to the 5 and could set my expectations correctly. I did not. This should absolutely be disclosed on the listing page. I was looking for peace and quiet and didn’t get that with this unit.It was very close to Encinitas and the beach (super easy drive, I would not call it walkable), so I was able to spend most of my time there, but I did have to adjust.It did have great a/c, convenient parking, and felt very safe."

"The view is fantastic. The house has not been maintained. Tiles falling off, moisture damage everywhere, and there is no comfortable place to sit. It rained while we were there and we had to put pans and towels everywhere to to catch the leaks. The deck was very poorly built. the windows and doors leaked. The heat did not work..."
