This wonderful cute little place is tucked away and nestled in a quiet little spot. The rooms were snuggly and very comfortable and staff have the warmest energy. We will definitely be using them again!!!! ❤️💗💕

Very pretty and very clean. The room was very nice. Did not spend a lot time around the property as our main priority was the town of Dahlonega. Catherine the inn keeper met us for check in. Very sweet and cordial. Gave us a history of the property. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early as the weather was really bad and getting worse the next day.

Cute Inn minutes from Downtown Dahlonega GA
This is a cute little Inn just outside of Dahlonega GA. The rooms are themed. We stayed in the Montana Room. The room was clean and tidy. WiFi was very good, we did not have cell service in this location in the mountains. The Innkeeper was very nice and interested in making sure our stay went well. I can recommend The Bear Necessities Cafe, within a few minutes drive, for morning coffee and breakfast. I can recommend. It is not fancy so pass if that's what you are in to.

The lodge manager, Cathy, was amazing! She made us feel welcome the moment we arrived and was there for anything we needed. Everything was immaculate, and our loft room was perfect for the quiet and serene experience we were looking for. Our patio on the deck outside our room was perfect for sitting, relaxing, and gazing at the autumn leaves. For us Floridians it was absolutely perfect!

Read this!
The Lodge was fine: very clean but basic. The building/setting and lobby were very nice but our room (#2) was very sparse with just the bare necessities. It felt more like a hotel, which is fine if that is your expectation. You should be aware that you have to go outside to get to the lobby which has restricted hours and is not available 24/7. Insulation was also an issue--we could hear folks across the hall, folks on the deck beneath our room as well as a heavy snorer next door! I would look at other options if we returned to the area.

I am not sure what Bare Necessities means, but we try to ensure that all of our rooms are comfortable with high quality linens, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Hairdryers, Towels, hand towels, washcloths, Iron on request, Water bottles, Binder with all available activities in the area. We are a Lodge and although we are in a rustic setting we do try to create a comfortable setting similar to a hotel. Our lobby is not open 24/7 but we have a full time onsite manager that is available at all times to answer questions or provide assistance. We do have quiet hours and we do try to encourage guests to respect those.

Such a cute little spot for a weekend stay. Super close to downtown Dahlonega and about a 30-40 min drive to some good hiking at Vogel State Park. Rooms were a good size. Walls were a little thin; we could hear our neighbor next door snoring. Property is really cute too, right in nature.

Lily Creek Lodge
The lodge was wonderful. The only thing I can say something against is that the rooms do not have individual thermostat controls, so it can get a little warm during summer, but still comfortable. Cathy was great and made sure our stay was great.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Lily Creek Lodge. Excellent customer service. Accommodating to our needs including our pet small dog. The owner and the Innkeeper are both hospitable, friendly, and attentive. Their price rate is reasonable. The lodge inside and outside is very clean, organized, spacious. The rooms are updated. The location of the lodge sits in a very private acreages area where one can enjoy their rest and relaxation, serenity. It is surrounded by nature which is a plus. We loved hearing the birds singing every morning. My husband and I felt we were home away from home. It has been a great Memorial Day weekend for us. We definitely highly recommend Lily Creek Lodge to everyone. We will definitely go back there in the future! Thank you Lily Creek Lodge!😊

The property itself is very unique and has an old rustic feeling to it. It is an older development so it naturally has different things about it like uneven floors or not the nicest/newest appearance but none of that is a negative. My room was very clean and comfortable.

I can't quite put it into words how underwhelming this place was. The location is great, but it is clear that the owners are no longer interested in being involved in this business. One of the hosts would not even get up off of the couch to welcome us. He just yelled for his wife to come give us the key. If you're OK with staying in someone's hot stuffy attic, this may be the place for you. Otherwise, I'd avoid it. What once appears to have been a nice quaint bed and breakfast is now just a bed and.... eh, maybe coffee... We just left.

Property and area is very cute and quaint. The pool is pretty far away from the building, looked to be about a half mile down mountain from the building which made me uncomfortable enough to not use it since I was staying alone. No TV’s in the room either which can be a blessing or a curse

The staff were very pleasant and helpful with contacts to receive a refund. The loft area is unsafe. The upper stairs are very narrow, not up to code I am certain. I would not have attempted to carry a suitcase up the stairs. The railing outside the loft entrance door was certainly not up to code, 2' high at best. The door opens outwardly. The chances of someone falling over the rail are real. The property is overgrown with trees and undergrowth, attracting insects. The advertised pool is somewhere in the back of the property, couldn't be seen from the lodge. You couldn't control the air conditioning from the unit. You had to phone the office to have them adjust it. What if you wanted to change the temp in the middle of the night. There was no TV. Overall, it is not an attractive property but again the staff, Dawn and her husband, were very polite.

So sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. The room description online clearly states that the lofts require access up narrow stairs and we also note that none of our rooms offer tvs in the guestrooms. The lodge is in a rustic and wooded setting as also described online and visible in the photos. We are always available to adjust the temperature for our guests.

This was such a cute lodge and we really enjoyed our stay. I wish we had stayed longer because everything was so beautiful. I would definitely recommend this lodge if you love being surrounded by nature!
