"We liked the location & the spaciousness of our room (it was an accessible room, so I don't know if others are as large). The front-desk staff was so friendly & welcoming & helpful. Housekeeping, unfortunately, was not great. Every day they left a bed unmade & the others were only pulled up sloppily. Also, trashes weren't emptied. Sheets for the pull-out bed were way too big & the mattress pad had holes. Breakfast was okay."

"It was perfect for us, as our son was getting married at Montaluce. The kitchen/living room area was very comfortable, everything we needed was right there. It was lovely inside and out, the views were beautiful, and the beds were extremely comfortable! "

"Loved the modern rustic décor of the hotel and happy with our stay. The toilet/shower space within the closed door area seemed very small and not sure how larger people could navigate it (we're both average-sized). Location was good to get to downtown (train) and other Blue Ridge sights. Area leading to and around hotel could use some clean up (trash and trash dumping along the roads/entryway). Overall, a good stay but does require driving to eat out, sightsee, etc., as not really walkable."
