"Hotel Route Inn Omagari was spotless, good breakfast and very nice hot baths. We have always had a good experience with these hotels. Small rooms but very adequate. "

"This is a great place to have an authentic Japanese experience. The traditional rooms with tatami floors were spacious and clean. The bedding was light and warm. The onsen experience was very pleasant. The traditional breakfast was flavorful and so were the welcome snacks. Definitely a valuable experience for those visiting the area."

"We had a pleasant stay at Omagari Empire Hotel. The hotel may be slightly old-fashioned, but it was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was convenient, just a short distance from Omagari Station, with supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, which made our stay very convenient. The staff were polite, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the good service and hospitality.

"The hotel is right at the station, which made it incredibly convenient. It’s an unmanned hotel with check-in handled through a machine, but the staff I interacted with were very polite. My room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and fresh towels were available daily on request. There’s also a lounge area with vending machines, free tea and ice, plus extra toiletries if you need them."

"Beautiful space - elegant, simple, comfortable, best dinner I’ve had on this trip. "

"Facilities are very clean and the owner is very friendly and helpful. It’s a good place to meet other travelers and the common space in the dormitory is spacious and welcoming."

"The hotel exceeded our expectations and was very cozy"

"with car parking and a minutes with the sight seeing"

"The hospitality of Nori-san, Chie, and their family made our stay so enjoyable. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort and shared wonderful details about their beautiful, nutritious, farm-to-table meals. We even got to tour their farm, learn about rice planting, and spot a precious firefly. The house is bright and clean, overlooking rice paddies, with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. It's also centrally located in Akita, making it easy to visit spots like Lake Tazawa,...
