Comme à la maison!

L'hotel est mignon et agréable. Les chambres sont simples, joliment décorés et on s'y sent bien, la literie est correcte. Les chambres ont des mousticaires et aussi un ventilateur. Il n'y a pas d'eau chaude comme beaucoup d'endroits au Senegal, si vous voulez on peut vous réchauffer un seau d'eau à la reception, experience 100% made in Senegal car les maisons, (du moins celles que j'ai vues) n'ont pas d'eau chaude (vous êtes dans un pays chaud). La terrasse est un endroit convivial où rencontrer les autres voyageurs. Je remercie le staff de l'hôtel et la patronne car ils sont vraiment très gentils et m'ont très bien accueillie, ils m'ont renseignée sur les lieux touristiques, sur les transferts aeroport et ils sont à l'écoute de leurs clients. On se sent comme à la maison!

Basic no-frills place near bus stations

Accommodation in Dakar can be quite expensive and this place fulfills a niche that is rather lacking. It is located close to the major bus stations and is super convenient for those staying for the night between long-distance bus trips. It is located close enough to the sights in town that it might also be suitable as a base for exploring Dakar itself. The rooms are clean, the electricity and water work, the staff speak some English, wifi works in the common area, and there are a few decent restaurants in the neighborhood. All in all, a good budget option for a short stay.

This property is nice little oasis inside of the city of Dakar. The rooms are basic but clean except the cleaner does need to look up sometimes to clean the cobwebs that I saw in my bathroom by the mirror. Food was good & breakfast was okay.

Stayed in group room for one night. Bathroom area was less than desirable. Staff is very nice. Breakfast was ok, bread and spreads. Easy to get a taxi in the area.

Very cosy and very nice

I had a very pleasent stay at Via Via. I was in the single room. It was simple but it had what I needed. The breakfast was really good and the staff very nice and helpfull. Yoff is a nice and safe neighbourhood, wich was important for me, since I travel alone. It was easy to get around and the beach is 10 min walk away. The Hotel is nice and clean and surprisingly quiet, when you think of Dakar. The room was a little hot, but the fan was working.

j'ai plus apprécié le personnel que le lieu.

C'est une petite auberge agréable mais au confort minimal : Pas d'eau chaude, les chambres sont très faiblement éclairées, pas de lampe de chevet, les repas sont plutôt chers pour l'endroit et les mouches s'invitent à table même au petit déjeuner. Le personnel est affable, disponible et à l'écoute: des professionnels!. Mon séjour a été correct et l'ambiance conviviale

C'est peu cher, mais la qualité vient en conséquence. Ce n'est pas le summum du confort, mais c'est suffisant, surtout pour des courts séjours.C'est bien que le wi-fi et le petit-déjeuner soient inclus. Et ajouter du papier de toilette et une serviette serait encore mieux.

Good

Good location- great transportation in the area. If you are a non-smoker do not sit in the courtyard too long- many people smoke. However, there is no smoking in the bedrooms which is great. Rooms sometimes get hot even with an oscillating fan. Flies during meals can be a nuisance, but the staff is very accommodating and the turtles are super friendly.

A great location and place

I stayed here on a few day trip to Senegal. I was quite impressed with the entire place. The neighborhood of Yoff is a nice and special place, and it is not too far from the city center. The room was nice, and had western appliances. Additionally, there are mosquito nets and a good and working fan. The included breakfast is good.

Easy location, affordable and friendly

Via is a good option for a budget traveler in Dakar, where lodging is rather expensive. Far from the center of town, it is is still easy to get a taxi right in front of the hotel at any time. They give you a nice breakfast and the courtyard area is a nice place to sit, although cushions are in need of an upgrade. The room was fine, slightly damp and humid but clean and with a bathroom in the room. Nothing fancy but a pleasant stay.

nice hotel wonderful and very helpful staff

just wish the shower had hot water and the room should have had a fan because the room does get a little hot.But other than that I really enjoyed my stay at this really nice hotel.The staff was great!

It is perfectly located in a great neighborhood.

I was looking around on hostel world for a good, cheap place to stay, but came across this hotel/hostel online. It is amazing. I can not recommend it enough. The staff was great and helped with organizing three great tours, I highly recommend them. They helped with airport pickup as well, and always negotiated a good taxi rate for me in the city as well.

Recommended for a stay in Dakar. Friendly staff and services are good for the price with food and drinks served. 5 minutes from the airport by taxi. Inner yard offers an escape from chaos of Dakar. Beach, markets and ATM nearby
