The place itself was really nice. The room was clean and it all looked great. The main downsides were that the room had no fan and was quite hot, the lock on the shared bathroom shower was broken, and the place smelled faintly of weed.
I'm so happy Dallas has a hostel and Bishop Arts is the perfect neighborhood for it. Checking in and out was super easy and straightforward. The entire property is clean and I saw housekeeping doing work every day and at different times to ensure cleanliness for guests. Parking was easy and plentiful. Lots of restaurants and shops to pop into within a mile.
Nice common kitchen and dining room. Interesting pods air conditioned, electrified and silent. Easy parking at the house property. Nice garden environment, not far from frequent public buses to downtown within 30 min.
Due to their expanding the hiostel currently offers one restroom only.
Pros: clean, quiet, good location, fan in each pod. Shampoo and conditioner in showers.
Cons: pods are very small and difficult to get in and out of. No kitchen towels
Only a scraper available which is why all the pans are scratched and gross
Door codes didn’t work and I was sent the correct one at 930 pm after multiple people already had to let me in and other people had trouble getting into the house and the room.
Not many trash cans.
it was absolutely comfortable for me, who drives to Dallas und want to spend the night in the city, reasonable, fair prices by uber specially for the late night. Thanks Ross (sorry if im writing your name nit correct) for being communicative, open and welcome. it was a beautiful morning with you in the Kitchen. thanks man, stay strong. God bless you.
-Nice residential neighborhood not far from downtown
-Affordable / good value
-Clean
-No staff on site. All communication is done through text messaging. It works - but it's weird.
-No couches or comfy seats to chill
-Didn't feel very social

The problem is theres no staff and no explanation for operations. Nowhere to put my towel so i put it on a rack in the restroom. It was gone and not replaced when i came back that night. Beds are small and thin in the mixed dormitory, but cozy. The main problem is how cold it is. Theres no thermostat or thermostat instr
