Great family get away

The place was perfect for our little family getaway. We were in town for a graduation and the pool was a great way to spend down time. Our only complaint would have been the cleanliness of the pool upon arrival. The water was clear but required skimming throughout prior to leisure. The downtown area was amazing, great location. All in all, would stay here again.

Mckinney in the middle of it all

We came in town for a family wedding and opted to have all of the family stay at one place. We had a great time chatting and eating around a splendid kitchen and dining room set up. Every one of us were impressed with the house and enjoyed our stay as many memories were created there. Big thanks for allowing this property to be rented. As the title said with all of the events and day trips we did the house was in the middle of it all as it was a short hop to where we were going.

Great location, close to everything.

We enjoyed out stay in McKinney... the town is darling and our accommodations were so close to the center of town. I think this house would be fun in warmer weather... great pool out back and fabulous looking bbq area, all fenced in. As for our stay, we enjoyed it but the house could use some updates and a good cleaning. We had a couple items we needed to discuss with rental owner and could never get ahold of him... that was frustrating. We tried to email a few times (no contact number was ever given and there was no information left in the home) and he finally reached out once we were already home to say we needed to communicate through the app (which we hadn't done). All in all the house was fine, but not over the top. A little updating of the home would go a long way... there's potential there ;)

Family wedding weekend

The home was a great set up with the 4 bedrooms and game room. The pool was cool and used everyday during the 90+ heat. The pantry was stocked with some essentials, which was very helpful. We would definitely stay again if in the area

TLC needed

The house itself was great. Stay started rocky when I had to contact owner to get check in information and he sent prior check in codes and dates for different person. Was not confident codes were changed. Home is great but older and needs some definite TLC and a better cleaning service. Found dirty panties in entertainment center, crumbs in the couch, towels racks fell off the wall. The drains in the bathrooms look like they have not been scrubbed in a while. Just basic cleaning. The grill only half worked. But the pool was great and we enjoyed the game room. It definitely had plenty of room for the 8 adults that stayed and was a great location. The owner was quick to responds to anything needed. Just some Attention needed to the home itself.

Great Staycation

I had a great experience with the house, I actually live in Mckinney and it was super convenient to still be able to go to all my favorite places with friends in town. The location is fantastic and plenty of space.

Not as expected but was okay.

The house itself was nice and very clean but there were several things that were disappointing for this type of property. We went in with high expectations because of the reviews and advertising. This property is in need of some TLC and attention from the owners. We packed meat from home thinking we would grill and when we went to use the grill, it was so nasty we didn’t want to put our meat on it… hadn’t been cleaned in I don’t know how long and the tools to clean it were in such bad shape that we couldn’t use them, plus a couple of the burners wouldn’t light so we had to bring most of our meat back home. The spices in the kitchen were so old we threw a bunch of them out (they advertised that spices were provided so we didn’t buy any) most expired in 2022 and were hard as a rock. The towel rack in upstairs bathroom kept falling off the wall, the kitchen faucet was loose, a lamp in upstairs bedroom wouldn’t work, and several other little things were just in need of some attention. The house was clean and spacious and met our needs in that aspect, but we had planned to really spend time hanging out and cooking with our friends and some of that was limited or less enjoyable because of the conditions of several things in the home. The game room and the pool were nice because we had small kid and they enjoyed those things. You could tell the neighborhood wasn’t kept up, landscaping hadn’t been kept up and things like that. Great location and had the potential to be a great stay.

Wonderful Home!

We absolutely loved our summer family staycation at this home. The house is roomy, providing lots of beds for everyone to sleep. The pool was clean and very enjoyable. Any questions we had were answered immediately. We are already planning our next stay here.

Perfect Texas Home

We came down to Texas for the solar eclipse and this house was perfect! Our boys (5 and 6) were obsessed with the game room upstairs and loved the bunk beds. The location was perfect to explore different areas, with quick drives to Dallas and Plano. If we had questions the host was always quick to respond. If we come back down to McKinney we will definitely book here again!

Elite Travel Football Weekend

The home was clean and met our needs perfectly for our weekend visit for our teenagers travel football tournament. It allowed us to be a hub for meals and get out of the rainy cold weather in-between games. The host was very responsive with any concerns or additional questions we had regarding our visit. Would definitely come back in the future. 😊
