If you like bad smells and broken glass, this is the property for you!

The biggest problem with this property wasn't so much the issues that we had, as the price we paid for a crappy experience. If I could go back in time, I would absolutely stay in a nearby chain hotel rather than here. There was a pervasive bad, musty smell in the house. And we couldn't leave the windows open because there weren't screens on the windows.The whole reason we stayed at a VRBO was because we had our dog with and wanted to stay somewhere we could let her out for potty breaks unattended. We couldn't do that because the backyard was full of broken glass, likely from glass bottles. When we complained, the owner said they would be cleaned up, but they never were. The bathrooms were very clean, but cups and mugs in the cupboard were dirty. Cutlery in the drawer was grimy, too. The sheets were clean, and we know that because they reeked of cheap detergent. If this rental had been inexpensive, we would've taken it in stride. But we ended up paying high-end luxury hotel prices for a crappy-roadside-motel experience. Unless they lower their prices to be comparable to nearby hotels, I cannot recommend enough staying elsewhere.
