「The hotel is a very short distance from the M6, which makes it an ideal stop over. The accommodation was really comfortable with lovely restaurant and bar facilities. 「We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point.
Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well.
Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting.
The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated.
Definitely recommend 10/10」

「Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice room with ensuite. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits available. Great choice at breakfast, including those, like me, who only want a continental breakfast. We dined in the attached restaurant both nights and the food, and service, was very good.
We arrived by bicycle and safe storage was provided.
All in all great value for money and highly recommended.」
