"Loved the location, proximity to the ocean and view from the 2nd floor. The staff gentlemen were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. I loved to listen to the waves with the half door open and the record players in the rooms was a beautiful touch. Bed was comfy and shower pressure was 100/10 amazing. It was a tad loud being on the 101 and near the train tracks. The only thing I didn’t like was the very difficulty entry and exit with a low clearance car because my bumper struggled each time to get in with the bumps and oncoming traffic. The other thing of issue was that my first room (31) had a window that did not latch for locking and then when they rearranged my stay and put me in another room (13), there were no locks on the windows at all. I was placed into a 3rd room (21) which everything was great and secure, though I will say for the sake of safety especially for solo female travelers the windows should be revamped! Otherwise, it was a great stay and I would absolutely stay again and recommend."

"I understand that this is a very high end resort and spa, but the fact there we received no forewarning that more than half the resort was closed off for remodel made our stay less than desirable. Staff was helpful and friendly. But the available amenities were not accommodating for the amount of guests present. For the amount of money paid this was not worth the cost."

"First time at this resort, it was wonderful from the staff to the hotel gift shop, the pools and hot tubes were great. All the amenities were just wonderful, we ran out of time renting the bikes but again still nice. Every employee we talked to was just over the top wonderful and nice, sadly it’s rare to experience this it seems like these days. We loved the convenient beaches, shopping and restaurants all just minutes from this hotel. We all had a wonderful time!"
