Great patio with fire pit. Ski Bromley, Stratton, Okemo, Pico Killington all a short distance. CHILDREN UNDER 12 NO CHARGE.

We are a 12 month vacation rental back to back with the Grn Mtn National Forest. Minutes to the Manchester Shopping outlets
We have a beautiful charming log cabin right outside the Green Mountain National Forest. This is a fantastic outdoor vacation or a quick get away.
The cabin has 2 bedrooms with the downstairs bedroom with a full the up stairs loft bedroom has a full and a single. Living room Kitchen combo and full bath. The kitchen is full loaded with pots, pans all flatware and dishes, toaster, microwave convections and Kreug coffee maker with a great variety of green mtn coffee all on the house. The living room has cable TV . We been told it is a old time cabin with all of modern days amenities. We have a great firepit outside gas BBQ with all wood and gas supplied.

Lovely cabin with so many extras. Hospitality of hosts was off the chart good, so nice and accommodating. Had everything we needed including snacks! Wish we could have stayed longer. Highway out front was a little busy and noisy. Train/tracks in back yard, but not a big deal.

Perfect Cabin Getaway

We loved our stay here in the cozy cabin! It was a perfect distance from the Vermont Summer Festival Horse Show. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They’re honestly the sweetest hosts we’ve had the pleasure of working with! We definitely plan on renting this place again!

Fall Break

We had a wonderful stay over a long weekend during Fall Break! Communication was great and the cabin was the perfect size for our family of 3, plenty of room and everything we needed to feel right at home for 3 days. The owners were amazing with some great recommendations for local hikes, they showed our son around the property which included an amazing treehouse, and even had fresh blueberry muffins for our last day! Would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Cozy Cabin!

Cozy cabin in beautiful Mt. Tabor. We were a family of 3 with two dogs. Space was a little tight for us with the two dogs, but is perfect for 3-4 people. Outdoor space nice as well. Location was convenient to Manchester and Rutland areas and close to great hiking trails. Owners live on the property and are very friendly and accommodating. Great experience overall!

Wonderful experience

What an incredible place. Super clean, pleasant and charming. The owners are lovely people, very friendly and attentive. I can't fail to mention the delicious muffins. My 3-year-old daughter loved the tree house and the playground. We had a great experience and it's a place we want to return to in the future.

A nice, new little cabin

The cabin is very nice, new, clean and had everything needed. It was also great to be able to bring our dog. It is near the other homes / buildings on the property and close to the highway, so do not expect a bucolic, backwoods location — but it was a very nice place to stay for a ski weekend and we would certainly do so again.

The cabin was cozy and well-supplied....and we appreciated the snacks and the fresh-baked blueberry muffins! The hosts gave us all the info for the xabin and surrounding areas. We Love Mt Tabor!

We had an awesome time at this cabin. It’s located between two town (less than 30 minutes in either direction). There’s also a multitude of hiking opportunities which was our main focus for going to that part of Vermont. Highly recommended!!!

Amazimg family getaway in a Charmimg cottage

Lori and Terry were amazing hosts. Not only was the cottage perfect for my family of 4, it was clean and comfortable. Lori and Terri are very thoughtful and kind hosts. When we arrived we were greeted with a basket of goodies and homemade muffins.. I absolutely recommend this cottage to anyome looking to get away... THANK YOU THE ROMAN FAMILY

Lovely Town and Hosts

The owners of this cabin were absolutely delightful to chat with and gave us great advice about places to hike and places to get breakfast and dinner. The cabin is tiny, but we understood that going in. It contained everything we needed and the hosts even supplied snacks, coffee, and half and half. We are a 50’s couple with one dog and it suited us perfectly. Recommendations to others traveling to Danby:White Birch Bakery for coffee and breakfast sandwiches and pastries - delicious and friendly staffWhite Rocks recreation area- park just before the iron bridge and walk down to the water, you won’t regret it Manchester for the dining and one of the best bookstores we’ve ever visited and we LOVE bookstoresLittle Rock Pond-the hike is easy and well worth the time, don’t skip the loop around the pondDorset Farmer’s Market-Sunday mornings at the general store, yum

Amazing

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property ❤️ The owners of the property were above and beyond kind and my children loved everything about it and so did our dog Stella ❤️ The cabin was so clean and it was in a great location of everything! This property was great. It was very clean and tidy. It had a nice outdoor set up. It was on a main road which has positive and negatives. It got us to a lot of hiking trails and it was close to manchester but it was remote enough to decompress.

Quiet Get Away

Terry & Lori are wonderful hosts! Cabin was just as posted in photos and clean. We were welcomed by Lori and a yummy assortment of snacks, which were welcomed after a long drive. They both are a wealth of information about the area and provided lots of suggestions for our stay. The morning of check out we had fresh home made muffins...yum. They are super dog friendly, it was great to have the "whole" family together. Would love to go back and check out the area in winter.

Fantastic Getaway

Loved staying at the property. Terry and Lori are fantastic hosts, and their cabin is perfect. They have thought of everything. Cabin was cozy, clean, and well stocked. Location was perfect for hiking, scenic drives to lots of covered bridges, shopping, and much more. There was plenty of room for our puppies to run. It’s a fantastic place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the area. Very close to the Appalachian Trail. We will be returning next year. Thanks again for a great stay. Dodi and Jimmy Baldwin

Wonderful stay!

The owners are charming and thoughtful! Made us feel like home on their 2 acre property. We stayed 2 nights and regretted not staying longer. The cabin is cozy, charming, romantic and very clean. Well stocked kitchen (plates, bowls, utensils...), plenty of towels and pillows, and firewood. Only 20 minutes from Manchester, and 1.5h from Lake George. We absolutely loved it and are planning on coming back for sure. The only thing that we liked less is the fact that it's right by a highway. But is you don't mind hearing a few cars zooming by every couple of minutes, it won't bother you.

Exceptional Host!

The hosts are really nice people and very accommodating. We brought a dinner dish that wouldn't fit in the convection oven, but Terry & Lori saved the dinner and cooked our enchiladas (to perfection) in their home oven! Then the next day they brought fresh-baked blueberry muffins! Our kids loved the treehouse and rope swing even though temperatures were in the single digits. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. A little smaller than I envisioned, based on the photos, but a good kind of 'cozy'. Cheers to the hosts!

Cute cabin. Great location. Nice for quick getaway.

Super cute cabin. Incredibly clean and well taken care of. Perfect location to explore all off Vermont. Great communication from host throughout entire stay. Only two complaints is proximity to other buildings on property and proximity to road/train tracks. If you are looking for a place that is convenient to ski resorts and is super clean and accommodating, this is perfect. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet with room to spread out, this might not be the right spot for you. But all and all, great post-holiday stay for the family. Thank you!

Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay here. The cabin is adorable & perfect size for 2 adults & our dog. The property is gorgeous & plenty of space to walk our dog & even let her run off leash in a few areas. The host was full of information & if you tell her what you’re interested in doing, she will suggest many places to go. We really appreciated that & went to many of her suggestions. We were looking for a VERY relaxing weekend & that is exactly what we got. The Cabin is stocked with all cooking equipment, there is no oven but there is a grill & stove top cooking. They had DVD’s that you could watch & many board games you could play. We will definitely stay here again & recommend to anyone traveling in that area.
