"My husband, dog and I stayed at the Rustic View Cabin May 1-8, 2024. We absolutely loved it. The "cabin" was more a lovely, appointed home. It was quiet and peaceful. The interior was nicely decorated, and the kitchen had everything a cook could want. Our city dog loved the fenced in yard (so many new country smells), and on those occasions when we left to go out to dinner, he was safe and comfortable in the indoor kennel. "Recently stayed at the Lakeview cottage and it was an exceptional experience. The comfort of the cottage along with cozy Adirondack chairs and a nice gas fire pit overlooking the lake make it perfect for relaxing evenings. Steven, the host was outstanding in communication, ensuring a smooth and welcoming stay. This place is a hidden gem!"

"We came for an extended weekend for a Wollersheim winery tour and a visit to Taliesin. We added a trip to J. Henry as well. (We aborted a trip to Circus World due to the weather) There are two restaurants/ bars within a 5 minute walk from the property. We ate at each, both were good. The down side was Saturnday there was a band till 9pm, loud music till 11pm. Not a deal breaker for us as we sat on the deck listening. The property was very clean and spacious. However parking is limited, really...

"Our family of 3 stayed here for our daughter's graduation from UW Madison. We were so busy that we basically just got to sleep here, but we all said we wished we could come back another time when we could just stay around the Farm - it was so cozy and relaxing! It feels very homey, the beds are super comfortable, and it's out in the middle of country, so peaceful! "We had a great time! House was so clean and stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again. Just adorable! I would recommend cutting the grass and storing your wood in a sheltered area. The wood was too wet to use-we had to purchase some & the grass was long with prickly vines on the stairs. The grass was long around the BBQ."
