"We live a busy on the go life and needed a slow down from such a fast paced life. This cabin was the perfect spot to unplug, slow down and enjoy life in a simple way. The solitude and nature with the sound of the river running was calming, relaxing and very much welcomed.The cabin is clean, updated and absolutely wonderful!!!Will be going again soon when life gets loud!"

"The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. The cabin is adorable, comfortable, and well stocked. It was perfect for our trip to the Jonas Snow Tubing facility, which is just down the road. "

"We had such a wonderful vacation! The cabin was close to all the activities we wanted (snow tubing, alpine coaster, ice skating, caverns and so many trails and beautiful mountain tops). Our boys were cozy in the bunk beds and the cabin was just what we needed for family time. (Even had a few board games for us to enjoy and plenty of books to snuggle up with) Our host provided such amazing hospitality and communication through out the entire trip with wonderful suggestions for extra activities and delicious restaurants in the area. "

"Host answered all our questions and needs in a very quick manner. Firepits are a family favorite and this one was probably the best we’ve ever had. Never had such a view except at The Little Switzerland Inn near Spruce Pine.The home was a perfect fit for us, our three kids and their families. Lots of room, all on one level."

"We stayed over the weekend and it was pretty great. But you definitely have to rely on the woodstove for heat. It stayed 62 in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. But the hot tub was nice. Would definitely stay again. "

"Overall this was a very good experience. We just ran into issues when it came to the living room furniture. All of it was either broken or on its last leg and really just not safe. My mother was with us who has spent her time in and out of hospitals for various medical reasons recently and we just didn’t feel comfortable sitting in much of the furniture cause it all seemed like it would break and she would get hurt. However, every other aspect of this was pretty smooth! We had trouble with the door code and they granted us access to a physical key which was helpful. The kitten was a great size of us to all have dinner together and there was plenty of kitchenware. It felt very homey and the location was beautiful. Be cautious during the winter season as the area freezes pretty bad! "
