"Check in staff where helpful and they were abrupt, the room was as advertised but please be aware being at the front of the hotel you are above a night club which on Saturday the noise restrictions do not come into effect till 2am, so don't expect and early night. On these night's perhaps a room higher up would be better. Otherwise, great location with plenty of restaurants and cafe's about with beaches across the road all within easy flat walk. Check out staff was great."

"Great property on the beach with a pool table, outdoor area and bbq and good facilities. Right on the water with the sound of the waves crashing was great. The place had a lot of character, and plenty of space to share. Great location too right near Shelly Beach. Highly recommend."

"The house was a hidden gem and perfect in every way. The views were spectacular. Additionally the house has so many hidden viewing areas that were beautiful to sit and watch the morning or evening skies. The only thing I would suggest is if you’re planning on commuting back/forth to the city (Sydney), to rent a car, bc Ubers were difficult to capture trying to go into the city. Overall, 10/10, HIGHLY Recommend."

Waterfront Paradise in Royal National Park - Your Bundeena Escape

"First time in Australia; family (7) vacation. This property is beautifully secluded and quiet. A welcome retreat after a day of sightseeing. Was not disappointed; pictures did not do it justice. We live in the desert so being right on the ocean was an added treat. The outside seating and the balcony were enjoyed. I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness because there were stains on the sofas. Host told us ahead of time about the problem with the carpet in one of the bedrooms (I appreciated his telling us). However, these things did in no way cause us to have any negative feelings about this property or our host. I messaged him about trouble getting access to the WIFI and he responded promptly with the solution. While some in our family did not like the long distance to the property, others found it to be a beautiful drive (about 1 hour to Sydney).The town of Bundeena is small and quaint and has everything we needed for our stay. We loved the little coffee shop we visited each morning and the beach that is 1 block away. We even took the ferry across the bay to Cronulla for a little shopping. If you enjoy the big city but need a quiet place to relax and recharge at the end of the day (and if you don't mind the long drive) I recommend this waterfront paradise. No complaints. Very pleased with our stay. I really felt that I could have stayed 2 more weeks."
