"Returned to Motto - great location in Center City 19th & Chestnut. Pretty much walkable - went to UPenn to Reading Terminal Market & Chinatown. Staff was courteous & helped check me in early. I have not tried restaurant/bar but I will next time"

"I loved the location of this hotel, as it is so close to the art museums. If you have a car, parking can be a pain; but there are some outdoor lots you can arrange with for your car fairly close to the hotel. You can load/unload your car right in front of the hotel, which is helpful. If on check out day, you want to do some more touring, the front desk will hold onto your luggage, which is nice. The hotel is "boutique", but no frills -- which suited me just fine. There is no bar, e.g. The room was very clean, had an exposed brick, industrial look and a very comfortable bed. Plenty of clothing storage/hanging space, TV, fridge, safe, etc. And the bathroom is modern and adequate (lighting could be better; and the mirror has built-in technology), though there is very limited shelf/counter space for toiletries. The view out the window (for me) is of the backyards of the townhomes on the adjacent street. The staff were helpful and professional. There is a Whole Foods really close (with a restaurant) and other restaurants and taverns nearby. I really enjoyed my stay here. "

"I don’t know why but the bed for me was very itchy. I kept itching, my skin was breaking out and I kept sneezing. My nose kept getting irritated. My final payout did not add up at all there was a bunch of different hidden taxes and fees I wasn’t aware of for anything involving the room. However, it is very beautiful and was relaxing, definitely a great place to vibe, relax, take pictures. "

"The room had 2 light bulbs out, and bedsheet had a stain on it, nightstand has scratches, and bathroom hook metal is broken along with detached shampoo body wash dispenser. "

"We have stayed at the Palomar in the past and were disappointed that they no longer provide robes and there is no longer a coffee maker in the room. No one wants to leave their room to get morning coffee.."
