「There may have been a communication or language barrier, attempt to reach the host through Expedia in regards to check in, were not responded to. Reaching out to the property management company was effective and they were able to be middle men so to speak relaying information from host but it took some time and a call back. The place was nice, it was super handy, especially the ability to do laundry in the middle of our trip. Only problem was an apparent hydrogen sulphide smell from drains,...

"The hotel is 15mins walk from train station but at the center of the altstadt. It has a small staircase at the front door, but it has elevator inside so very convenient overall. Basically you can go everywhere you need within 5-15mins walk. It actually has a sauna you can use once you reserve with the hotel staff. German style breakfast was nice. View from the window is 100% excellent if you are located on the high floors. No air-con though only fans in the room in summer."
