Dauphin Island in January

House was very comfortable for my wife and I with alll we needed to grill some some shimp and prepare our meals. Of course in January weather was pretty chilly and breezy, but the view of the water was beautiful. The hot tub was amazing. Would stay here again.

Great place to unwind!!

We lived how quiet and peaceful it was! It has a great view of the bay and the deck made it the perfect place for a cup of coffee in the morning. Loved the hot tub as well!

Quaint and comfortable

Everything about the home was comfortable - the beds, seating etc. The view of the gulf is lovely and quiet. I loved that the house came with 2 useable bikes. We enjoyed peddling around the island. The beach umbrella was a lifesaver on our trips to the beach. The hot tub was also a treat! Perfect place for a family getaway! We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely and Quiet

So easy to check in and check out. Guest services reaponded quickly to a few questions and were quite helpful. The cottage was older but comfy and had everything we needed. Our time on the island was quite restful and refreshing. We will be back soon!

Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed our relaxing stay at Coronado Cove Cottage for 5 days. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The view of the bay from living room and bedroom was beautiful, and we enjoyed spending time on the deck and walking along the water’s edge. I do wish there were blinds on the window beside the front door and in the kitchen because we had to keep fully dressed when in kitchen and living room area due to no blinds on those windows.

Great getaway

This beautiful property is located on the northeast side of the island. Within steps from the water, the backyard is a natural beach of sand, trees, grasses, and abundant wildlife. It is not the type of white sandy beach that you would expect from a touristy destination, and that is why we loved it. The down-home feel and the peace that the cottage and the island brought are unparalleled by any other experience.

Beautiful place

The location of this place is perfect for guest looking for a getaway from the typical busy packed vacation scene. The view is stunning from the back deck great look at the ocean. The house stayed cool the entire time no issue at all with any house hold appliances or HVAC system. I've ran into issues at other vacation rental houses with this so it was great experience for me and my family. I highly recommend this to any one who is looking to get away from the norm.

Dog-friendly house with a water view and hot tub

We had a great stay for a long weekend in the off-season. This is close to everything, and we loved the screened-in porch overlooking the bay and the hot tub. The gas grill was a plus, too. Some of the fixtures and decor were dated, but nothing that caused problems. I recommend bringing groceries, including things like salt and pepper and oil. They was were expensive on the island.

Location and swim spa

We love this spot. Quiet, off-season relaxing fun. This was our 2nd stay and we'll be back. However to give a thorough review we must include the challenges: arrived to dirty cold swim spa, internet is in and out (mostly out), dishwasher does not work (no dish soap so we bought some to hand wash) second shower does not work, screens are ripped and pollen covers everyt. All dishes, appliances are shabby. They could also use hot tub cover opener. It is very difficult to take off and on, we needed both of us.But again, even with all the shabbiness, it just feels like a camp. And we love it.h

Needs some updating

Was a nice property, but could use some updating & repairs Location was good, Quiet neighborhood, good view of the bay. Couldn't get the oven to work, but luckily they had a crockpot so I used that to make my Christmas ham! The hottub didnt get hot enough till we were ready to go home. But the steps weren't tall enough for me to get in anyway, and I'm not that short!All in all a nice trip, Christmas week so lots of places were closed, but we found plenty to do anyway. Locals were very nice get hot enoughvtil

Really nice view.

House was in a great place. Plenty of room and all you need to cook and such. Really only two problems. The first is the water pressure was very low and showering and flushing toilets was very problematic. The second problem was the screening on the deck was not in good shape and several place out little dog could get out and so we couldn’t let her be out there without us watching. Other than those two problems, it has a quirky mix of old and new fixtures and decor. Great view out back. We will have to decide on if we can stand the water pressure when deciding to come back or not.

Not bad

It was a decent house and was clean when we showed up. Access to the deck from both bedrooms and living room was nice. The hot tub was the best part. The master bed was insanely squeaky. Rolling over in the night would wake me up. The double doors in the other bedroom also don't lock. Looks like someone broke it or something so even with the deadbolt locked you can still open it. The shower downstairs was also nice to get the sand off after coming back from the beach. As far as cleanliness the worst part was the coffee maker. I used it for hot water and got a cup full of brown water and what I hope was coffee grounds. The appliances are dated as other reviews stated but they all functioned as they should. Overall we liked the house more than we did the island. 😁
