Riders on The Storm

Considering we went a major tropical storm, we absolutely loved Whatever She Wants. The home is fully stocked with everything you can think of and only 60 steps from the beach. We will definitely stay again. Vacasa was great to deal with also. We didn’t want to leave.

Sand Resort

Perfect spot to stay that was a few steps off the beach. You can’t ask for a better spot to have privacy of your own beach. Perfect accommodations for a group of 12 and it has large common space for even more. Everything you need is on site and when you do need some supplies the town has some convenient shops. Great space to relax and unwind and soak away your worries.

Great Beach Vacation

House is just like the pictures, very spacious and payed out perfect. Big spacious kitchen with loads of pans, dishes etc. Extra refrigerator in laundry area was nice to hold beverages or extra food. Beach is right out the back door and we took full advantage. Totally enjoyed our full family vacation( 9 adults and a 3 year old). House and area is exactly what we were hoping for, very clean. We will definitely be back.

Nice home needs better maintenance and elevator.

The house is very pretty, and has a great location. I thought the TV in the living room was especially nice. It's very large and has a great picture. It also allows you to stream Netflix and Amazon etc. If you have accounts.

Lovely home, extremely well equipped. Picturesque view of the gulf from the patio. Only complaint was that the elevator did not seem to work, even after having someone come out to attempt a fix.

Great family house!

Layout was perfect, kitchen WELL equipped, everything was clean! Right on the beach, can't get closer! Bunkbed in kids room was "loose, broken weld" but our child was 9 and small so it was ok, really my only complaint!

Beachfront & dog friendly

This large 4 bedroom, 3 bath home has tons of room including large den and full sized, well stocked kitchen which includes ice machine and dishwasher. Loved that it was beachfront and dog friendly. Large porch is beachfront, deep enough to offer some shade all day and has a "child gate" so our dog could be outside with us. Gas BBQ grill is in good condition. Elevator is very convenient.

Beautiful views and a fridge for your brews!

We were able to see the Milky Way from the back porch when our neighbors turned off their lights. The extra fridge is great for the cases of water, so there is plenty of space in main fridge for food. The ice maker was great. Beach toys and chairs were much appreciated. This is the second house we have stayed in on Dauphin Island, and my daughters are hoping we get the same house next year.

Great Beach House on Dauphin Island

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life, this is the house for you. Dauphin Island is a great place to get away and just have a daily agenda of doing nothing but enjoying the beach, and having a house like this right on the water is perfect. The elevator feature is a nice touch loading in and loading out, although it is a little finicky. I would like to see better instructions on how to use it correctly. If you do anything to mess it up, you have to reset it (turn it off and back on). The kitchen is a great size for family meals and the wraparound island is perfect for buffet style eating. Having a grill was awesome and we used it almost every day. The layout of the house is great for family getaways. It might be an improvement to have the bunk room moved to one of the bedrooms with access to the Jack and Jill bathroom and then there would basically be two master suites. Overall we loved the house and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Beautiful beach home

We loved the view, the decks, the layout of the home and the nearness to the water. It was just off the decks which was great for watching the older kids in the water. The downstairs shower was excellent. The best I have ever seen. The mattresses were good, and the washer and dryer were excellent. Our family had a ball fishing, playing dominoes, watching the sunsets and dolphin spotting. My only complaints regard the use of the elevator which was very difficult due to a locking problem. If there is a way around this it should be explained better in the instructions. Luckily, we had no one handicapped so this was just an aggravation. The stove top only had one burner working. There is an ice maker separate from the refrigerator's ice maker which wasn't working. I didn't discover it until the second day. We had a great time at Whatever She Wants. With just a bit of updating, the place would be perfect. Would definitely book again.
