"This hotel is aged. Pain peeling, furniture faded and knocked and carpets from a bygone era. Car parking is in the town on a public street which entails carrying luggage a long way to the hotel rail shuttle and then again onto the hotel reception. The rooms are terrible. Very dated. The bed base on the floor with a thin mattress atop a 15cm high base. You don't so much step out of bed when you get above a certain age, as roll out. The bed sagged to so didn't provide comfort. "Charming older property, with fantastic views of the lake. Rooms are dated, with wood paneling throughout, but are in good shape. The hotel is a bit of an uphill hike from the train station. It would have been nice if a transit pass was included with the stay, but apparently was not during my particular visit."
