This home is close to the freeway, in a quiet spot in the country. Well equipped kitchen. Laundry facilities on site are great.

This is a very comfortable place to stay. There are many personal touches throughout the home and it is outfitted with everything you could possibly need. The home is also very clean. We found the neighborhood and area to be very beautiful and scenic. I highly recommend this rental to anyone needing a place to stay in the Madison area.

We absolutely love this property! This is our third time staying and we will be back again next year. The inside is immaculate and has everything you could possibly need. The hosts are super friendly and responsive. Simply could not ask for a better experience.

Great House Near Madison

We really enjoyed our days at the beautiful guest house. This is our favorite place to stay in the Madison area. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. Barb and Butch were very welcoming.

Great Stay Outside Madison

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beautiful guest house is very comfortable and well equipped! The area is very quiet and convenient for access to Madison. Barb and Butch were very welcoming.

Excellent Place to Stay

I stayed at Bruce & Barb’s rental while I was in town working for a full week. The home was so beautifully decorated for the holidays, very clean and cozy. Bruce and Barb were so friendly. I do not have a single complaint! I highly recommend staying at their rental.

One of Our Best Stays EVER

This property was perfect for us! Comfortable, beautiful and safe location, well-stocked, nicely decorated. We had everything we needed in the space and there were many activities nearby. This place is exactly as advertised...Clean, neat, cozy, accommodating, right off the main road in a great location only 20 minutes or so from downtown Madison. 4 of us stayed 2 nights and were very happy with the place. Would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful accommodations and nice people

The owners were very friendly and easy to work with. They put a great deal of effort into making clear instructions, including labeling wall switches for ease of use. Kitchen was well appointed and loads of room. Washer and dryer were bonuses for us as this was the last stop in our tour of WI. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Gathering

Excellent accommodations. Hosts do an excellent job ensuring the property is set up for their guests. We were in town for a family wedding and enjoyed the location as it was close to all the events. Stayed there last year as well for another family event. If you are looking for a location with smaller group, this would certainly fit the bill. Would definitely book again in the future when in the area.

Terrific Stay

The rental was very well thought out. It had everything and was clean- spotless. Everything from fluffy towels to comfy couches was thought through. It was a great stay. I will be back.

So relaxing....

What a relaxing stay away from home. Clean, organized, lots of essentials for cooking, and cozy. My son and I stayed there and loved it! Barb had games such as Yahtzee, cards, corn hole to keep us occupied in between wrestling camp sessions. Highly recommend and if we are ever in the area again, this is where we are going to stay!

I gave this vrbo all 5 stars becomes it really did exceed in all areas. The home is very clean. The host is friendly and welcoming and has thought of all the little extras to make it feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

Better than a Hotell

House, hosts and yard are all beautiful!! Like new accommodations and all very comfortable. All our needs were met!! Very easy access. In town for our daughters wedding. While a hotel may have been closer, the peace and quiet helped reduce the stress of the busy weekend.

Cozy, clean and close

From the moment we were greeted at the door to the time we left, our stay was wonderful. The home was fully furnished to the point we could cook a Thanksgiving dinner away from home for our daughter. We relaxed in the spacious place and went in to nearby towns for a meal or shopping here and there. It was out in the country but still just minutes away from everything you needed. We have already made plans to book again.

DeForest Gem

This cottage rental was everything any traveler could hope for: sparkling clean, quiet, and comfortable. When we entered, there were Clorox wipes, masks, and hand sanitizer, and for this nurse, I couldn't have been more thrilled! The kitchen was very well equipped, including a tea kettle (thrilled again) and the king bed provided for a restorative evening rest. There was a book that included everything we needed to know about the area and included local restaurants, it was very complete and so very helpful. The owners were friendly and kind, I just can't say enough positive comments about this cottage, but it's really the BEST we have ever stayed in! Thank you so much for your hospitality! P & K

Wonderful and Gracious

Where to begin? This was an amazing VRBO with wonderful hosts. Barb and Butch did everything to make our stay enjoyable and over the top comfortable. A previous comment mentioned lack of spices but that has definitely been remedied. There were as many spices as we have at home. We hosted a small dinner and Barb made sure we had everything we needed. We have stayed at numerous VRBOs and this is most definitely at the top of the list. Clean, updated, spacious, marvelous kitchen, peaceful setting. Simply wonderful. When compared to the Hawaii VRBOs we have used, the sandy beach is the only thing that beats Barb and Butch’s place. We will be back !!!!!
