Front dest closed at 5:00 so when we got there at 6:00 our keys were hanging on the front door. When we left at 9:00 the next morning the office was still closed. Had kitchenette but everywhere cracking and peeling. Bathroom window was open and wouldn't shut. Coffee pot still had coffee and grounds so didn't use. Ceiling light was burned out. TV rmote didn't work part of the time. Only good parts were front door parking, nice TV, and refrigerator that worked. Beds good.

The room was nice, beds comfortable. The room was clean. My only complaint was the TV was not working.

Affordable place to stay for Sturgis

Its a cute 70 year old motor lodge perfectly located on the main street in Spearfish South Dakota. Close to Sturgis, Deadwood and the gorgeous Spearfish Canyon.

So Loud

The location was great. There was no housekeeping, which we were not told about. The WiFi didn’t reach our room, we had to go to the pool to do something as simple as read/respond to work emails. And So. Noisy. I have never stayed in a hotel that I could hear a bicycle pedaling by. Other rooms might’ve been better, but this stayed really soured me.

The staff was wonderful! The room smelled a little smoky, and the employee working tried to remedy it for us. The pool needed cleaning badly, and the room was hot (it said a/c was automatic, but it hardly ever switched on (we didn’t mention it). If you want a clean, no-frills place to stay, this is it.

When we first walked in the room wasn't as cute as some of the pictures showed but the beds were amazing and it really offered everything we needed. We didn't get to use the pool because of a thunderstorm but it looked really cute and well taken care of. We would delivery stay here again

It is an older property and there is no soundproofing whatsoever. You hear folks walking in the room next to you! Also someone was banging on a door at 3am - weird for a small town! Air-con is super loud, with a mind of it's own, bed very uncomfortable. All in all - we didn't really sleep much.
